The party for the many....As long as they behave like characters from Lord of the Flies.

Yes for the many, the many duped by Labour's "Costed" policies and for the many who wish to live in the dark ages.Smoke and mirrors.

That's it for now - MUST attend to my overseas family who incidently view Labour's left-wing agenda with incredulity !

Looking forward to Theresa May's speech.

Coming from a Labourite that is hilarious.
The entire Labour campaign was a tell them what they want to hear fantasy.
When Tories try to be honest about stuff like the NHS they are jumped upon by nobby lefties who are only interested in political gain.

Such as telling big old lies about how they definitely aren't privatising big chunks of it, and slashing costs/defunding where they can?

I actually think you have a point in regards to social care (as opposed to the NHS) but 'honesty about the NHS' with the Tory Party invariably means 'how can we make people pay for medical care?'

Social care? The waiting list for CAHMS in Bromley is 14 to 18 months. Long time for a kid with mental health issues I feel.

We all know it can't go on as it is. It is a mess right now for a number of reasons.
Trouble is that it is one of Labour's pet election weapons, even though they have consistently failed to find a working solution for it. That means it will never be taken out of the political arena and administered with cross party agreement.

Overriding thought of all party conferences is that they are a waste of time. Parliament is where the action should be happening for the hopes and aspirations of voters to be realised, and not by half-baked, knee-jerk paper promises made at Blackpool; Manchester etc.

Far too much time lost at Parliament in recent years with elections; lengthy recesses and party conferences. Just get on with the main job of representing constituents...

Is there something wrong with you. You obfuscate every f***ing thread with inane witless barbs about Labour.
Please stop.

Nick! Did you really just say that??

A man who pollutes General Talk with constant barbs against the Conservative party, who will search out the far flung corners of the internet for something - anything - that will show the government in a bad light, is accusing others of obfuscation??!

The Hypocrisy Klaxon has just woken my neighbours.

I preferred his second speech. The one about clearing away dead bodies of Libyans so UK businesses can build a new business hub/seaside resort. Rousing stuff.
