race to the bottom then - Moyes versus Hodgson, different styles, same outcome because we can't survive a season placing so much pressure on the back four. This is why we get so many injuries in that department. Joe Ward had a decent game (by his standards)other than the error that led to the goal BUT he will always be a liability.

Tactically, Roy is 10 - 15 years behind the development, whereas Potter is on par. Our players are better than Brightons, but Roy makes them worse.

I wholeheartedly concur with these sentiments. Indeed SP may be surprised how little money he gets from PPV. If he was satisfied watching this, he has to sell up. One bright spot, we didn’t waste money on Sarr or Benrahma but may have done in Eze. Obviously his defending not good enough to warrant a game.
