I just did a quick search and it looks as if insurance is taken out but only pays after a certain length of time and only a percentage of the wages.

It isn't just the wages though as if you buy a player for £8m on a four year deal and he is injured for two of those years that is effectively £4m lost

Yeah, a career threatening injury is a right touch

Me & my lad spoke to him before the Toulouse game & he just wants to be back playing. It seems his over-eagerness to get back is what's causing his ongoing problems now his cruciate is sorted.

Will this be five? It's gonna be five! It IS five!

He didn't seem too bad last week in Tenerife. A bit of warm weather never hurt anyone.

This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise.

What did Roy say? Last I'd heard he was finally back in training. If he's still not ready then surely his career is finished?

Sorry to quote my own question, but did anyone actually hear these comments?

Roy was sitting in his office the other day thinking of Connor Wickham when on come the radio with The Three Degrees singing "When Will I See You Again". Rather ironically it was followed by a Zager and Evans song.

Maybe CPFC could get him working on Match day in one of the catering outlets? Firstly it would seem like he's paying his keep (so to speak) & secondly It may cut down on the queues & speed up service !!

I got that, but I am of a certain age and remember when it was in the 'Hit Parade' as the chart used to be called.
