Oh. I have to say that I do the latter. Not just saying that because I want the bubble bath experience. I usually say it to girls that are too feminine to be just called "mate" or "fella" but at the same time I don't want them (or their big husband) thinking I am trying to get some game time with their fanny. In older days, some women were known as "Fanny" - I am thinking of Fanny Cradock, whose real name I think was "Phyllis" Edited by Willo (25 Aug 2016 1.04pm)

But names that were once fashionable in bygone days and would NOT have been considered in fairly recent times are back in vogue. I have heard of young children being called Alice, Edith and Florence.Perhaps "Fanny" will be all the rage in the not too distant future.

Not unless it's a place in Britain, Ireland or the US; or unless the royals, the Beckhams or the Kardashians use it.

Well, using the term "fanny" to describe a lady's special area is dying out anyway. The only thing keeping it going is "Oh South London is wonderful". So perhaps if we stop calling it that then there'll be a lot more Fannys on the street. Then who knows? A boom in kids called Gaylord, Dick and Rectum?

Remember that Irish politician 'Dick Spring' whose name sounded like a sex aid ?

Then again British politics is hardly a shining light these days. The quality of politicians and politics these days is intensely annoying.

I had a good friend at school Tracy w***ling (which I guess is just an unfortunate surname). There is also a girl I know here [and this is not a joke] whose name is Sunovar Hoare. Stoned parents or what?

Good name for a brass, bad name for someone in customer service who has to wear a name badge.
