(sorry if this has been discussed in earlier pages)

What annoyed me was the unpunished, blatant time-wasting which began around the 17 minute mark from Millwall. I actually managed to crochet an entire replicar of the Turin shroud whilst the opposing goalie got round to making a goal kick.

The moment we implement some "game management" in the second half, we get double bookings (one for Joakim and the other for Jack).

No such ban for chucking a full bottle of drink at a player's head??

I doubt very much it was drink that was inside it!!

TBF I think even Benteke might’ve scored that header.

It would’ve been a horrendous miss had he not scored.

Benteke would never had got into that position to score in the first place. Even if he had, the odds are he would have tamely headed it back to the goalkeeper. Mateta at least needs to be given a run in the team.

Great performance, would have loved to see Rak Sakyi play some minutes.

Disappointing that some Millwall fans acting like morons (chanting against Gallagher, booing the knee etc..) They try to justify booing of the knee saying it is hijacked by BLM and why Zaha refuses to do it. Wilf does not boo anyone when he does not do it so it is not comparable. Even if that was true, it is disrespectful to your team mates who believe in the gesture. People that boo taking the knee, other national anthems etc are just moronic.

Exactly, so no complaints from me. But if I was the Millwall manager I would be furious. If this game was at SP it would have been disallowed.

VAR would surely awarded a penalty for shirt pull on Andersen

VAR would have definitely disallowed the winning goal for offside.

The millwall fans never got going today a bit disappointed by the atmosphere in the ground after all the build up it was no better than a Southampton or Norwich was a bit worried first half but once we scored only one team was winning which is understandable considering the difference in quality of the two teams

walking down the holmesdale road to see the palace aces!

Good to progress beyond the 3rd round as we have been pants in the Cup since we reached the final. Midfield trio, Olise, Eze and Gallagher failed to impose themselves in the first half. As commentators said would of liked at least one of them to chase the game to try to make something happen as we were completely flat going forward. PV may of told them to get stuck in 2nd half and not get intimidated from the oppo. Olise had a blinding spell 2nd half and like Gallagher against Everton was the difference. All 3 have this ability to single handedly turn a game. Gallagher looks rusty and Eze probably needs to be softly brought back after his severe injury. Olise should start from the off now. Millwall offered little going forward and we scored 3 today. Hopefully we won't be trying to play out from the back so close to goal in the future. Any error across the whole line and it is a goal. Ward again did some crucial blocks/headers in the box but any winger with speed and he struggles. Schlupp had another of his non games today a la Leeds and continues to frustrate as he looked good against Norwich. COYP !!

With respect I am not too sure about that.Mateta was offside but then moved the ball back to Gallagher who then found Olise and the defence had a time to reset.Perhaps "Passages of play" etc would have entered the equation.
It wasn't as if Mateta in an offside position passed the ball on to a player who then netted.

Yeah a bit disappointing. Early kick offs are always a bit flat at the den though. We all need to be half pissed I think.

A couple of years ago we played Everton in the cup at home and it was a 5:30pm kick off. The atmosphere was electric. Everyone was well oiled after a whole days drinking. That’s my theory anyway.
