I don't know if it has been asked already in this thread but I thought that the limit for loan players in the Premier League was two at any one time so how come Fulham are allowed so many players on loan and all playing at once?

I thought Parker set them up well they were solid and yet ambitious going forward.
I hadn’t really thought of him as a potential Palace manager but the way he has adjusted to life as a Premier League Manager- has got me thinking he might be a safer option than I thought.

If he brought Andersen, RLC and Maja with him it might be the best deal on offer!

Benteke has to go and we have to get some natural width into the team.

Not a single shot on target, at home to Fulham. To go with the 2 shots last Monday. Royball - 4 points and scraping by in order to stay in the division to try and do the same next season. Time to the ring the changes, if we go down, we go down, but I don't see the point of this.

Be careful what you wish for, there are many teams like Charlton/Stoke/Bolton/Sunderland for example who took the route your asking us to take. The financial stakes are huge in the PL, if we are relegated all that is lost and I for one certainly do not want to see this football club fade away in the lower leagues. Four points from the last two games whilst not very pretty to watch has increased our changes of survival in the PL and I'm very happy with that!

The two limit is only on domestic loans. You can loan as many overseas players as you like

I think there's a split between domestic and foreign loans. Can't remember. Ola Aina is from Torino, RLC Chelsea etc.

Maybe the best hope Palace have of 3 points is by way of an admin error by the opposition.

I was thinking the same thing. 7 loanees out of 11 on the pitch, very odd way to build a team.

I'm also in the 'Scott Parker for manager' camp. He'd work well with Roy during a year of transition. We could do a lot worse methinks.

Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled.

That's a bit unfair. Bolton were relegated as they appointed a crap manager in Dougie Freedman

I am guessing this is the thinking in the boardroom. Let's be safe and avoid relegation at all costs. Does not make it any easier to watch these games tho.

PL clubs can only have a maximum of 2 players on loan from fellow PL clubs at the same time.
Fulham have RLC and Lemina on loan from PL clubs but the rest are from clubs in Europe.

Why would you want a transition period with a manager that has a totally different style. All they would do is argue tactics, or Parker would show too much respect for Roy and end up ruining his own style of play.

Yes, but I think we are running out of old-school English managers.

We've already had Bruce, Allardyce, Pulis, Warnock, Hodgson.

Does Mourinho belong in the Dinosaur club yet?
