I’d like to say I told you so, but I really can’t be arsed. I can’t believe some people are still defending Hodgson tactics after that shiite show today.

Their first goal was a mistake, their second was a mistake, their third was a result of attempting to fix them, we don't do goals we do goal mainly because we don't do mistakes.
Sometimes some teams are just too good for us on the ball and off it.

At the end of the day it's about entertainment, and under Roy we don't provide any.

Where did our points come from? ..also I like to blame the players for they're the ones kicking the entertainment about.

The tactics we employ are Roys way of telling the players "You're not very good but you are experienced enough to eek out a few results here and there yo keep us in the division"

Maybe not being given game times is a contributing factor

It comes with the territory, Ayew got it bad today and at one moment after a particularly nasty challenge I thought they had finally achieved their objective in removing him from the pitch, it's an art in itself and they played it brilliantly today against us.

Wilf taken out in 1st minute by Evans, why do refs not produce cards that early? It seems to happen regularly to Wilf.
Not an excuse for another poor performance but ....

OK - but please explain to us knee-jerkers RH's substitutions yesterday?

Roy has done a great job and the other day I said no he should stay, and I haven't changed my mind even though we have been awful the last 3 games.

Parish and the board have a problem, if there is a transfer kitty, and that is a big if, do they give it to Roy now with him likely to leave at the end of next season, or would it make more sense to replace Roy now and give the new guy the money.

Glad I'm not a football chairman.

Hairdressers now being formally reopened, I'm sure that SP can mull over this tricky dilemma with his while having a quick trim.

Hodgson has signed a one year deal and will be in charge next season unless he decides to stand down.
He won’t be sacked .
With that in mind our transfer activity should be linked to short term purchases who Hodgson will play e.g Cahill, Ayew type acquisitions.
There is no point wasting money on similar players to Meyer, Sorloth and Camarasa who Roy won’t use and will be a drain on our resources.
Keeping Hodgson encourages a short term mentality.

I concur with these sentiments.
He will certainly start the season as our manager but whether he finishes will depend on results.

There are massive flaws in Roy’s way of playing and his substitutions are blood boiling at times but the players have more blame on their shoulders for not being able to pass the ball 10 yards and the board are as much to blame for our desperately weak squad.

People are on here saying this is the best squad we ever had and we paid a lot for Benteke and a this much for Sakho so that proves we have a good squad. Benteke and Sakho have been appalling for us for the majority of their time with the club.

Meyer has shown to be nowhere near good enough for this division, he is lacking is so many departments to cut it.

We have 1 Out and out striker at our club folks, yes folks that is 1 striker( his name is Benteke) That guy who most fans would pay to see leave. Most clubs have 3-4-5 options up front, even all the bottom clubs. We started the season this way as Wickham should never have been near the squad.

We have 1 right back, who is a decent full back but again is always going to struggle for his lack of pace.

1 Senior left back who could not pass the ball to a Palace player if his life depended on it.

We have 3 wingers at the club, Zaha who is our best player but wanted to leave this season and has struggled for form. Townsend who has been injured a lot and when plays is bang average. Schlupp, who in my opinion shouldn’t be next or near a Sunday league team.

We have a quality goalkeeper (regardless what a lot of you think)

Centre Backs we have - Cahill have been brilliant, Sakho will hopefully never be seen in a Palace shirt again. Dann, this will be His last season with us because of age. Tomkins is usuallly top drawer when plays and has been a great signing.

Folks our squad is flawed from top to bottom, we are blessed to have 42 points because the majority of our team are just not good enough for this division. Most of them may have been a lot better a few years ago but just look at the age of our squad. There is a reason teams don’t field squads with the average age of ours.

We are not as good as a lot of you think. We need a major over haul in the next couple of years to have any chance of progressing.
