So you agree with me that he's a tit and shouldn't be immune from criticism?

More wasting of police time. Probably an easy arrest I'd say, but surely Izzard could of said 'Listen I got my beret back, lets leave it here?'

If Izzard didn't go around in a beret trying to bemoan democracy what would he have left? Watching Palace and running marathons very slowly to kiss up to a dead terrorist. But no, he's had a slice of fame and he needs to cling on to the final threads of it for as long as he can.

We were somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the drugs began to take hold... |

He is getting worse as he gets older and has some weird ideas in my opinion.
Supported Palace for over 69 years since the age of 7 and have seen all the ups and downs and will probably see many more ups and downs before I go up to the big football club in the sky. |

I used to be a big fan but having seen him lately I've lost respect for him, every time I see him now he's walking round looking like a total t***.

Exactly. He can be as gay as he wants and dress up as whatever he wants and no one has a problem with that, but according to some on here the fact that he's gay and a cross dresser means he's immune from criticism?! If people have a problem with Izzard it's because he's an obnoxious prick. His performance on question time summed him up to me, totally intolerant to anyone who has an apposing view to his. It's not homophobic to point that out. If he was straight and not a cross dresser it would still be the case FFS. ..he was right on question time and he serves with both hands actually.

He is a guy that used to be funny, used to have a bit of a niche market in the comedy industry that in many ways raised his stock and helped paint over the weaknesses in his comedy. Here he is, in a world where what he wears is actually considered a lot less "way out" than it was before, where he is washed up in terms of comedy, trying desperately not to be forgotten about. He can join Russell Brand and Bob Geldof. I'm sure they've all done some good, and I don't necessarily disregard them because their opinions differ to mine, but they ought not be taken any more seriously because they were once famous. They are no different, in my mind, than any other fanatical person stood on a soap box in the street yelling their opinions.
