But if vaccination reduces symptoms surely they'd be more evident to an unvaccinated person who could more care to avoid others when they were felt. Some of the attitudes displayed by the unvaccinated give me no confidence at all that they would show even a modicum of such responsibility.

Just because someone decides not to get vaccinated doesn't mean they actively want to harm others anymore than anyone who chooses not to get the flu jab or any others. If that were true NHS staff with the percentage of unvaccinated staff would be full of Typhoid Marys.

The selfish attitudes shown by those who claim that what they do only impacts them, and therefore should be of no concern to anyone else, is something that appalls me. Those who work in front line jobs in the NHS tend to be more responsible and caring people so any of them who refuse the vaccination and had to be withdrawn from face to face contact would still be careful as the risks would be better understood by them. Support staff less so.

Does this also apply to flu vaccination? It ought to in my opinion. There has though not been the same urgency placed on flu vaccination due I suspect to the flu being regarded as something we just have to live with. Which is where I suspect Covid will end up in time. Herd immunity will eventually arrive.

just had a village 'incident' this weekend. A few people I know, reporting feeling really fatigued on Sunday and sleeping a lot. Most people are fine today.
I disengage, I turn the page. |

It seems to me that Boris is being stitched up in what is no better than a kangaroo court. All that matters is that lessons will be learned, but this looks like a blame game being played out to satisfy those who want retribution.

Nothing will be known until the report is written. This part is simply the gathering and evaluation of evidence during which there is bound to be an element of self protection by the witnesses. If you feel uncomfortable about that don’t watch it. Just wait for the report.
