Made-up click bait on newsnow claims Spurs' (fictitious?) interest has waned; but Benteke wants to stay and fight for his place at Palace. They're just hedging their bets. Big Ben will be a Palace player on Tuesday for the more obvious reason that no-one wants him at his current price and wage. 6 goals in 3 seasons - you can hardly blame them.

And yet if he went and scored 10 goals this season it wouldn’t surprise me. That’s what makes him so frustrating...we have all seen there is a player there. When you watch him in training he’s great.

Benrahma is certainly our first choice & will be a Palace Player the only thing is we have till the 16th of October to finalise the deal. I still am hearing this will be don on Monday. In regards to Brewster he favoured the Palace move but we were never happy giving Liverpool £23m & a buy back clause so hence why this did not get over the line & he is now a Sheff Utd Player. We have other options in the fire Sarr still being one of them could be a loan with an obligation to buy. We will still bring in 2 players before the window closes.
