Not even a mention of the man allegedly touching his daughter, trust the BBC to distort the story Edited by dannyboy1978 (03 Mar 2020 9.59pm) A better question is why anyone would believe InfoWars or,, indeed anything that "Robinson" says at face value! Best we wait until he either appears in Court or has any charges dismissed. I am not jumping to conclusions. Are you?

I hope your children, grandchildren never go through anything like this as you'd be losing your family with the attitude you have on wanting to protect the perpetrators

This post has been merged from a topic called 'BBC fake news - Tommy Robinson' by Midlands Eagle WE wants to talk about whether Robinson should be believed or not? He himself has no problem with lies if they are effective to his end...to paraphrase him on this very forum. Both the state and the media have been quite willing to lie about Robinson. However, I will take in all perspectives on this before taking a position. Edited by Stirlingsays (04 Mar 2020 7.52am)

If Robinson is correct then I do not think it is in the public interest to prosecute him as he did what any father would do.

You seem to have the same attitude as all the people who wouldn't take the child rape gang victims reports serious. I hope your children, grandchildren never go through anything like this as you'd be losing your family with the attitude you have on wanting to protect the perpetrators I think that is total nonsense. All I am saying is that as "Robinson" has previous it would be wise not to treat anything he says, or publishes online, at face value and wait until all the facts are known. He was clearly out of control in his own video so the Police had little choice other than to restrain him. What happened before is another matter which doubtless will be investigated appropriately.

He may have smacked someone who his 8 year old daughter said squeezed her bum. If you swore at the Police in the way he did then you would have got the same treatment. Once they have investigated fully then we will know what the consequences are. From what I saw I anticipate he will get a warning but maybe there is more to be revealed yet.

I am suggesting that because he has a record of distorting things to his own ends we ought not to make instant judgements and wait for a Court to determine facts. I don't know all the facts, although he was certainly out of control and swearing at the Police.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'BBC fake news - Tommy Robinson' by Midlands Eagle Let me put the record straight. Of course I have "a problem with lies". However there are lies and lies. We all tell white lies when to tell the full truth would cause more harm than do good. That comes down to a matter of judgement and trust in the person making that judgement. The question here is whether you trust "Robinson's" judgement or not. Some do. Some don't. In this case mine is reserved.
