Andersen looked totally disinterested today. On paper our back 4 should be solid by PL standards but we are not being supported by our goalkeeper and their confidence as a 5 just seems to have dissolved. This group have never been great in the air but now we look absolutely dreadful. Our set piece coaching must be simply awful given the number of times we have conceded and the zero positives from corners at the other end of the pitch.

So the issues are clearly coaching and team selection, we need Johnstone in goal and we need some big changes to the way in which we approach set pieces. Roy is ultimately responsible and just has to go.

He has a very high percentage against BHA,he scored there in his first match, where's Willo?

He will have undoubtedly been at the game.

His Seaweed supporting neighbour will have got him a ticket and he’s not posted on here since late morning, so it doesn’t take a detective to work out where he’s been.

I can forgive and forget many things in football but throwing Olise on at 3-0 down was one of the worst managerial decisions I've ever seen. I'm in utter disbelief. I can't even begin to think about how wrong he got the rest of the game.

It's a very sad end, but this has to be the end.

Yes it was unbelievable, you would think Roy was deliberately trying to get sacked . Fair play to Olise though for knowing he had to come off and not trying to play on , but an unforgivable decision to bring the lad on when 3 nill down , whatever chance we had to have him aginst Chelsea now or god knows how many weeks are gone . Also why is it that he is the only one that cant see that Henderson is a very bad keeper . Go aleaady Roy and take Steve with you please .

Please sack Hodgson His football is always boring to watch -he is unable to deliver any confidence or spirit in the team -all the supporters are brassed off with his negativity and want radical changes in both managership and the board Many of our signings have been both bizarre and poor Without Eze and Olise who are both injury prone we offer nothing in attack and with our aged full backs our better defenders confidence has been badly effected Let’s pray todays game finally seals Hodgson fate

IF HODGSON REMAINS SURELY PALACE WILL BE DOOMED !!

Parish looked like a dead man walking BEFORE the game let alone after.
Big big changes desperately needed. HUGE.
Judging by the mood on here we are all in disbelief tonight.
Bringing on an injured Olise opitimises our problems and has only made them far worse.

What a monumental error playing olise

Positives are Munoz/franca/wharton got a run out.

Season is over, let’s hope we stay up and parish doesn’t offer Roy a new deal

What on earth are you going on about - our season is not over we are in a fight for our Premiership survival - big time..!!

And thanks to Captain cock-up looks like we’ll have to do it without Olise for weeks..!!

As for offering Roy a new deal - surely you’re kidding - needs to go now/tonight..!!

What is Roy bringing to the table anymore? We didn't lose today because of the starting line-up, we lost because Roy can no longer manage at this level. He needed Eze and Olise to stay fit to cover that up.

The most painful bit was when we scored and Brighton had 6 men outside their 18-yard box and no Palace player with 15-20 yards. That's not the players, that's having a manager who doesn't trust his players.

Personally I hope Roy resigns and admits he's not up to it anymore.

On the positives Munoz and Wharton look like once they get used to the PL they'll give us an upgrade. Both were a bit slow on the ball at times, but every player experiences that, it was the same with Doucoure in his first season. Wharton in particular looks class, just a bit naive, which he should be able to shake off. JPM again one of the only players to contribute much, but was chasing lost causes all game.

It is all so depressing .... The squad may not be deep, but there is more talent in there than teams below us have.

Clearly keeping Roy is a bigger risk that bringing in a proven manager. It is incredible that we ship goals so quickly, something not right in the coaching and tactical awareness.

The decision to bring on Olise was "criminal and totally non-sensical" and should be the final nail, unless SP is equally desperate as his manager. You don't need to be a level 5 coach to see that the team set up is a mess and the instructions to the players put them at a disadvantage from the moment the whistle blows.

It is a mess all around and the only option now is to replace the manager. SP should never have put Roy in the position in the first place and it is a bad outcome for all. SP's judgement and football sense does't look very good does it? Easy to coach from the couch, but some things are blindingly obvious, unless you are on a different planet from the rest of us.

We are easily the worst team in the premier league. And Roy says he won’t retire till his job is done, that is till he relegates the palace.

He probably put a few grand on us going down when were 20-1 earler in the season

Hodgson's lost the plot, lost the players and lost the fans.
It seems that the board's strategy (if there is one!) is to build a squad full of young, hungry 'up and coming' players which is great. Trouble is that unless the club makes progress year on year we'll have no chance of retaining the promising young talent that we have and building something good.
We have young players that are more talented than the likes of Shlupp, Hughes, Richardson, Lerma, Edouard etc. that are wasting away on the bench.
I think Parish is an egomaniac who's sole focus is his legacy of leaving us with the new main stand and I get that we're not the most attractive club for players or managers but the lack of action is just bizzare!
If something's not done it'll be the Championship next season and I'm expecting/hoping for an announcement soon, failure to act now could undo all the good that's been done since 2010.
Rant over!!
