Not a single shot on target, at home to Fulham. To go with the 2 shots last Monday. Royball - 4 points and scraping by in order to stay in the division to try and do the same next season. Time to the ring the changes, if we go down, we go down, but I don't see the point of this.

Ah now come on thats not a fair statement . We did nearly get an own goal of a Townsend cross . does that count as a shot on target I counted six attempts where we ran at them with their defence stretched and down we went, I lost count of the amount of times Ayew was fouled trying to run with the ball ..same for Eze.

Its a sign of the times that I find myself breathing a sigh of relief when the whistle goes and we hang on for a point - 0-0 against a bottom three side!

Worryingly for Fulham we showed that you snuff out Lookman and they look fairly toothless. Hopefully if they get relegated we make a move for him. Maja looks good too. Cavaileiro brought some energy as well, got me worried. Mitrovic was useless tho.

You know full well Mr Gribbo that that's not the case, we have key players out injured and what's left is knackered, next season half this squad will be gone. We are in transition and you know it.

Absolutely agree. Week after week it's the same. Originally posted by Gribbo

Well to be fair to Mr Gribbo, that is exactly what is "sensible business". We are now good at avoiding relegation, which is great business. Risk taking is not. Rebuilding from a business perspective need to be done conservatively. And I hate all that.

Blimey, that was a dull, uninspiring game. A very difficult watch and destined to be the last, very short slot on MOTD2 tonight. I agree with the comments about RLC, would love to see him back at Selhurst. Perhaps he was asking Roy after the game if there were any vacancies.
Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled. |

They won at Everton 2-0 about three weeks ago and they outplayed them from start to finish much much more then they did us today, Fulham have been playing wonderful keep ball for most of season and they do not deserve to be in the situation they find themselves ...same as Brighton lol

Yeah, Scott Parker after the game just said "We did everything in our power to try and win the game but it wasn't to be." We simply cannot claim the same. So little drive, intent, motivation, energy... where to start with a rebuild? There's so much to do. Going back to the first few games of the season, Fulham had a load of new players, including an entire defense. They were disjointed and naive, but have done really well to grow as they have and just about have a fighting chance. My big worry is that we try and make these massive changes and it all goes wrong. We have slept walked into an aging squad for 2 or 3 years. Now it is catching up and will only get worse. I would say Scott Parker would be a safer bet than a lot of other managers. Anyone is a gamble. But he has shown he can quickly re-mould a squad, under pressure, with limitations. And he would have a squad better than the one Fulham had back in August.

The BBC will be panicking after that game as even more people cancel their licence.
