Will do you still think PVA a better choice at left back because of his experience ?

We just spent 25M on Eze. We can't afford to do that every window, especially in the middle of a pandemic when there is no money coming in.

Our current roster is more than good enough to comfortably stay up. If Roy can't even manage that, it's time for him to move on.

With respect,I don't share such a roseate view.

I just see players well into the twilight of their careers who now lack energy, mobility and pace and they are not going to suddenly discover the elixir of youth.

Cheer up - Leicester on Monday!

We'll have the worst goal difference in the PL.

Those who think we're safe - let's see how the Blades game goes in a week's time.

Yep, Vardy like Grealish will be all over our defence like a rash and he is also clinical on the break. Even with 10 men he needed marking tightly. Goodness knows what the scoreline would of been if Traore had stayed on the pitch after the sending off. Both first 15 mins, apart from early chance were a horrorshow, at both ends. Clinging on first, no attacking chances in second. Roy's subs pattern is so predictable, never a change at half time, even against 10 men. 70 mins seems to be his baseline.

Willo after predicting it for the last 8 seasons you may finally get your prediction right..!!

I am not sure that I have been a prophet of doom predicting relegation at the start of each and every season but I admit that I have been far from optimistic for probably most of them and accordingly thankfully wrong a number of times.

Leeds and Burnley would go above us if they win their games in hand. Brighton will be only 3 points behind us should they win theirs. It really is that bad. On current form a tonking by Leicester and a loss to Sheffield Utd seem entirely possible, and a slide down to 16th place the result.
I wonder if Parish has a master plan?

I cannot defend PVA's recent performances and I have always questioned his defensive capabilities adding that he is better going forward than defending.

Mitchell is young and inexperienced and of course has a lot to learn.

Jeez.
What a total embarrassment - he wasn't even marked.
Roy Hodgson - sack - now please Mr Parish - right now.
So please we didn't buy Watkins - should just have paid what they wanted immediately.

Dougie didn’t think he was worth £10m last season.

Leave off - if I could be bothered to go back over the threads, I could find posts from you for all 8 seasons predicting we were going down..!!

Eze was not £25m. We got a bonus from Sorloth but still do things on the cheap. Plus Roy only wants players who fit his system , Watkins would have been perfect, great work ethic

Burying his snozzle between SR's thighs or someone much younger?

Could have been a different story had Wilf scored in the opening minutes... god I’m sick of the BBC.. you’ve got both Keown and Richards ex Villa and I can’t bear listening to Shearer ... but hey it was a poor display... Luka’s time is over I think.. gives away too many crucial fouls...Let’s give Riedewald a go for a longer period...
