Ok.. sorry, my bad. Did not see the difference. But you really need to post these rules somewhere other than leaving us to find the out for ourselves. Just my thoughts.

The constant changes in defence caught up with us today, especially with PvA playing more on the front foot. The lack of continuity means the communication and understanding is not there. Dann was poor first half, unusually being poor in the air. Luka was not great and Batshuayi just can't seem to stay onside. VAR saw eveything except the foul on Zaha, but in honesty we didn't deserve anything from the game. I like Wolves and I like their manager. We weren't great, we move on. Luka may have really shot himself in the foot as he probably would have started at Leeds despite a less than impressive showing. With 3 games out he may have to rely on injuries to get back in. It's going to be a big test next weekend as right now our weaknesses could be spotted from space and Biesla seems to be all about fine tuning tactics. However, I will say this evening was not as depressing as some of our games this year and on another day we might have snatched a draw. We certainly attacked more than in many games even if it wasn't fruitful. Also, although not as good as the last two games, Jairo impressed again. Yes I agree with all that apart from Luka who I thought did well considering the pressure we put ourselves under, our attacking was very good but it died of frustration as the game went on, not all bad at all, defending was weird tonight ..we allowed them so much space it was almost ridiculous and it was where the game was lost.

Strangely we didn’t have the tightness in defence or midfield tonight for which Hodgson normally sets us up to play? However it was a better display than against Brighton for which we got a point and the Chelsea match which were awful Performances compared to tonight. Luka and Reidewald showed that they aren’t a good pairing and was hoping Hodgson would have changed that at half time. Reidewald should play in Luka’s defensive position in front of back four now as Luka just isn’t good enough these days. We have enough midfielders to replace him including Kouyate as we have better center backs in my opinion waiting to come back. Also don’t think there is a place in the team for Eze with Zaha playing together. Don’t think it works for us with them both playing? Even though we were second best tonight that foul on Zaha with VAR not used would have brought us back to 2.1 down and that could have changed things in our favour? Terrible decision after VAR proving the goal and pen not given in the first half being correct. Wolves are a good side and we were second best tonight so I’m Not too disappointed about result after recent terrible performances and hope players coming back and right team selection improves forthcoming results for us?

Clyne is not ready for action after a year out but has been thrown in at the deep end so he can’t really be blamed. PVA has been out for months and wouldn’t have started only for injury to Mitchell. That explains a lot about our defending.

Jeagles, I couldn't disagree with you more. Mocking Roy for his poor tactics or other aspects of his coaching is clearly attacking Roy. But mocking his speech impediment is no different from "mocking" a short person for his height. Neither is something that can be controlled, and other short people could reasonably be humiliated by your choice of insult. As a teacher, I would quickly respond to any student who chose to mock another's speech impediment, and I would frankly be appalled – and react even more strongly – to a colleague who did the same. If I were in charge of the site, I'd react immediately. The world needs a lot more kindness, especially in 2020. Agree 100%

It was simply not our night. Both full-backs needing more game time so a little rusty. Tight offside decisions. A couple of decent goals against us. We didn't play badly. Michy took his nearly goal well, as he did before. We would probably have scored from the nearly penalty. A bit of luck and it could have been different. Once two behind it was always going to be tough. No need for despondency. Another week to get players fit.
For the avoidance of doubt any comments in response to a previous post are directed to its ideas and not at any, or all, posters personally. |

Thought they were better than us man for man in almost every department. What was clear as daylight to me is that Riedewald and Luka may be better at shifting the ball forward but are nowhere near combative enough when we play superior opposition. The refereeing including the sending off was a joke and just underlines how useless most of them are with or without replays but not quite as pathetic as the in game bitching on here.
