There was I confident that we wouldn't lose to a toothless Villa side and what happens? We don't turn up. Yes I know VAR got it horribly wrong with the Sakho header but after that we made Villa look good. That has to have been the worst performance against a poor team that I've seen since... (fill in the dots!) I, too, am rapidly reaching the conclusion that Roy will have to go at the end of this season. The players on the pitch seemed to take the attitude 'we're Roy's boys so we don't need to bother if we don't feel like it'. At least both Jairo and Max tried to inject some urgency. With Benteke banned for the rest of the season, hopefully, it will be the last we will see of him in a Palace shirt. I ask myself the question, 'Do I want my free pass to watch the Manure game?' How has it come to this? Disgusted Doombear rant over. I'll revisit this in the cold light of day tomorrow and see if I feel the same.

Apparently foul and abusive language. So Robertson is on video calling the ref a useless c*** and doesn’t even get booked! Not defending CB but highlighting how different clubs/players are reffed

Crystal ball for MU: Guaita We'll play somewhat better, lose anyway, no goals, 2-3 shots on target. After the match, Roy will say how he's pleased that we played better, and it was unlucky we didn't get any points.

Just disgusting... No other word for it.. It is literally the poorest I've seen us since Peter Taylor was in charge. C'mon Roy has taken us as far as he can. We simply cannot risk having him in charge next year.. It is clear that Jimmy Mac is absolutely knackered and needs a rest.. But that would mean Roy actually having to play Meyer in his proper position and possibly playing actual football so that's not gonna happen.
Don't waste your time with jealousy. Sometimes your ahead, sometimes your behind, the race is long. But in the end it's only with yourself!! |

It,s easy to say they are on the beach. But where is their pride ? The goal was good, unless the arm now reaches the head. But no excuse s for what came after. This was as bad if not worse than the Leicester, game and that was dire. We are safe, but Roy, can’t sanction this lack of application from this group. In football terms it’s really unhealthy, and must be a worry going foreword . This is becoming an embarrassment , because what we are seeing is some really poor stuff , so poor it would suggest they shouldn’t be in this league, said with heavy heart, by someone that has supported them since 1949.
