HI Should go upstairs next year.... we hopefully have survived this season,, but based on this football and age of slow squad.. we are bottom 3 materiel next season"
Its the time to take a chance with a new manager, as Hodgson would go anyway next season... if the new manager fails, Warnock should be free for end of season survival... lol

At the end of the day Roy is not going to be our manager for much longer one season more at most .So we should rebuild from now top to bottom and go again next season .

Is that not proof over and over again, failure of tactics..
Its by chance we win, not his tactics

Meyer should have been on for some creativity, hope schupps can get back

I also thought Riedewald was one of our best players when Roy decided to haul him off after 60 mins for another defensive midfielder who’s far worst in possession.

No doubt he’ll be resigned for bench for the rest of the season now.

Changing the subject slightly did anyone look at the Stats of the match, Leicester committed 18 fouls against our 8.
Most of those were committed against Ayew, Benteke and Zaha when we were in possession and trying to go forwards, not saying those attacks would have led to anytime but they were stopped before they even had a chance. Leicester are pretty clever at doing that, only two bookings, systematic fouling, bit like Watford.

Love it when people really dont understand, a forward needs a pass or a cross into a position where he can score from... Even a Vardy or Salah wouldnt score in our team. Bet you where moaning about Ayew last year?? He scores in a free role that suits him this season but as a number 9 as in Benteke role, he struggles does Ayew...

But those are all players put on big contracts three or four years ago and are now in decline.

Townsends problems with niggling injury and consistency have been there since day one and wont be getting any better with age.

Age, injuries and inability to regain fitness mean Sakho is now looking on the way down (being kind).

WRT the wage bill Meyer is also a lightweight on £80k a week and IIRC Scott Dann negotiated a hefty and valuable contract when his stock with us was at its greatest.

Benteke doesn't require explanation other than his 20 from 23 good chances missed during 2017-18. This stuff about him just needing service and to get his confidence back is bollocks.

Manager cannot be responsible for awful individual mistakes (Guaita and Sakho for first goal) and accidents (Sakho slipping over) ..he is also not responsible for unbelievably awful passing and last but not least Zaha for not bothering.

I understand alright, he's spent three seasons playing like a right tart who cant score from three feet, run, hold the ball up or trap a bag of cement. Stop trying to defend the indefensible. What don't you understand about 20 missed chances from 23.

Liverpool was the only game where we failed in attack,

We had opportunities against Burnley and today against Liecester who are rightly in the top four, we need to strengthen and our manager is the best we can have to do that job.

You'd think it'd be the perfect time to be a bit more inventive really. A freebie of sorts. Not to be though is it.

I’d like to say I told you so, but I really can’t be arsed. I can’t believe some people are still defending Hodgson tactics after that shiite show today.

It comes with the territory, Ayew got it bad today and at one moment after a particularly nasty challenge I thought they had finally achieved their objective in removing him from the pitch, it's an art in itself and they played it brilliantly today against us.

At the end of the day it's about entertainment, and under Roy we don't provide any.
