A joke is supposed to be funny, not something that's just untrue and solely designed to annoy. Your conduct is again that of someone having a pop in what is basically a 'safe space' in terms of the individual targetted. Taking your eye off the ball when your assistance is needed, by getting a hardon over making up lies about an elderly man on the internet, may not the best use of your time. I dont remember ever asking for your opinion, and as for your obscene comment, well there are no words!!

You mistake pomposity for having a basic moral grounding. Try it. Edited by footythoughts (22 Apr 2023 1.38am) Wissie does not need protecting, he is more than capable of defending himself.

What he actually says is the the post Brexit policies such as corporation tax are hindering the potential economic benefits, which I agree with. It's useless to align with EU tax rates if we can better them
Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance. |

It's useless to align with EU tax rates if we can better them I remember it being suggested during the Brexit campaign, that we would be forced, post a Brexit, to compete in a race to the bottom over corporate taxation. Maybe that's all Farage has left? Attract businesses here not because of a buoyant economy and a well-trained and available workforce but because we will tax them less. Bit like the Cayman Islands?

Of course there are no economic benefits Farage but you and others only saw what you wanted with your rose-tinted spectacles. Car manufacturers saying they will shut unless the brexit deal is re-negotiated like many their seamless supply and demand changed to frustration and chaos. Brexit is like HS2, the UK apparently does not have project manager work-bench now we are chucking the EU laws that make sense and keeping those that don't. The stand-out problem of the last 13 years, the UKs poor economic growth has undoubtedly been made even worse and we are probably in another lost decade. What would you choose, investment in the UK with no single market access or elsewhere that does. .

2016 Brexit never stood a chance given the Establishment opposition to it. The absolute s***-c***ery of us being effectively manhandled back into it is now beyond blatent. And that is fine. Actually looking forward to a second referendum now...so that it can be mass-boycotted. Imagine the impact of that. A vote for rejoining on the back of a turnout of less than 50% and with less votes cast in favour, to the tune of millions, than the 17.4 of 2016 who voted Leave. Hopefully, in the aftermath, heralding the emergence of a new political movement that truly WILL get Brexit done by being predicated on completely over-hauling our entire system of governance to include Westminster, the Civil Service, the Judiciary, NHS and any and every other institution of the UK that needs dismantling then rebuilding.

'Boris Johnson's Brexit car crash has wrecked Britain's automobile industry'. 'In the coming months and years the slow death of the British volume car industry'. Powerful stuff, and the irony is that Swindon and Sunderland were leave areas.

Nissan has set out plans for a £1bn electric vehicle hub in Sunderland which the Japanese firm says will create 6,000 new jobs at the firm and among its suppliers, safeguarding the future of Britain’s largest car factory as motoring moves away from petrol and diesel. Source: The Guardian

Corybn in 2017 scared the living daylights out of them. Hence why they went into their kill plan of pushing the lunacy of the second referendum policy. One of the most fascinating 'leaks' was of the whats app group populated by many of the Blairites in the Labour Party in the aftermath of the 2017 election. Absolutely distraught about what Corybn achieved. And then a scary amount of them switching over the 'Peoples Vote' campaign leading to the defeat in 2019. An absolute stitch-up of genuine 'House of Cards' levels of political s***housery.

Source: The Guardian Nissan appears sell set with its own battery factory built-in so to speak. They were brought here by Mrs.T and Lord Cockfield of course the free trade agreement made by her is her greatest achievement imo.
