I wonder how you would feel if it was your 10 year old daughter being passed round by a bunch of pakistani taxi drivers. You literally make me sick. I see you’re undecided on your opinion of him.

if your young teenage daughter was buying a kebab and was 'invited to a party' by the staff, how would you react ?

The stuff coming out now has been said on this forum for years. Yet it's being told to the mainstream normies many years after the event....many. I'm waiting for justice to be enacted for these criminal institutional policies of inaction.

No young teenage daughter of mine would ever have been left unsupervised in such circumstances. In fact I cannot imagine any circumstances when they would have been left at risk to themselves. Maybe I am just naive, or old fashioned, and my children certainly thought I was too "strict", but going to fast food outlets on their own was a no no until their mid teens at the earliest. Which raises another question. Before anyone jumps down my throat let me emphasise this is not any kind of excuse for anybody. Either the perpetrators or the responsible authorities. Putting those questions aside for a moment it puzzles that so many very young girls seem to have been left unsupervised and able to be mistreated in the way they were. I realise that many families today are far from a rosey chocolate box ideal of Mum, Dad and 2.4 children with Granny and Grandad around the corner. Nevertheless, should we not be asking if the social problems that this causes has contributed to the problem and, if so, whether we ought to be doing more to try to mitigate it? Has the breakdown of the traditional family unit provided the background into which this evil has inserted itself? Is the increased incidence of child gangs and knife crime another manifestation with a similar source? After school clubs, scouts and youth groups could help but if only if made compulsory. I don't have answers. I only have questions. I know we cannot turn the clock back but these are real issues which do demand answers.

Bad parenting or dysfunctional families is not a green light for sexual abuse, whether it’s opportunist or some kind of punishment to western ways of life, whether that be the dysfunctional families or breakdown in society, or they’re allowed to dress even slightly sexually when Muslim are not. Some contradictions in there in what they claim to follow and preach. I don’t remember hearing about groups of local shop owners or taxi drivers sexually abusing girls when young people went to the shop for mum or dad or to buy a quarter of pear drops, do you?

I asked that we set that aside for the moment and that I was not in any way seeking to excuse anyone. What I am asking is whether we as a society need to look at the conditions which allowed these girls to be put in such danger? Is there anything we can do which would help? Not those who have already been harmed but those in the future who may face other threats from other sources. If children are left in a vulnerable situation then the chances of harm is obviously greater.

Remember kids: Grooming gangs = "Asian" Why are there different standards at play for how these are reported?

Yeah, it's almost as though people need to look at what the causes of familial breakdown are don't they?.....But perhaps, the supporters of social liberalism aren't the people who have a leg to stand on regarding these matters. Like asking a lion how to promote an increase in vegetarianism. Edited by Stirlingsays (20 Jan 2020 11.57am)
