So after reading through the reams of shyte from certain useful idiots on here it's quite obvious that we should be calling Taylor Wimpey to build a huge bridge across the channel, down with the wire fences, to hell with border controls, let's let everyone in and to hell with the consecquences.
Do you think that there should be any immigration controls. If so, why do we need them and what should they be?

Gussett, there is absolutely no point in arguing with you, you are totally lost in this socialist la la land. You are so far gone that you are a lost cause. The problem is there are lots of people like you who are in government, local councils etc, and this is why the country is in such a dreadful mess, giving money out left right and centre. I've just finished a book on the subject of immigration to the uk, from the very start to the present day. It's a fair and well written book and would be a good read for anyone interested in that area.

Kelvin Mackenzie has similarly written a very good book on the need for immigration - a surprise as the ex editor of the sun

Might depend in part where one's personal perspective is anchored. It was described in The Sunday Times (not noted as a lefty/liberal newspaper) as a "breath of fresh air in a foul and fetid room".Again,just someone's opinion.
