I am not certain where any instructions to go softly softly, if there were any, might have come from or what thinking might have laid behind them. That's why I think the blame game is so pointless. It achieves nothing at all except hot air and reams of internet anger. I doubt now they are now being "ignored" although I also doubt that all have been identified and helped, due to the resource issues that the Police and Social Services currently face. If people here really want to make a difference perhaps they could direct their advice to their MP and suggest the government spend more money in these areas.

By the way I know what "Robinson" was actually convicted of, but throughout that whole episode the concerns being expressed by the relevant authorities were the implicit dangers of anyone doing what he did. That the Judge looking at the specific details of the individual case came to his conclusion is not really relevant.

Al Capone was convicted of tax fraud but everyone knew he was a gangster. No propaganda involved.

As per the link put up by W12 it was the Home Office. It will serve a purpose if exposing the information stops such a horrible thing happening again.

"Internet anger"
Is that what you actually think.
We are digitally angry.
Not actually "angry" like in real life angry.
Wow just wow.

Does the buck stop there though or were they also working to the guidelines of some master plan? If so who wrote the plan? The Cabinet? Brussels? Or even the UN?

I have no idea at all but nor, I suspect, do any of us. Whatever lay behind it whilst we can see the result and learn from it, I don't think we ought to question the good intentions and integrity of those who either developed the plan, or carried it out, unless we are quite sure they were culpable.

No. But that's all that appears on here.

If your anger causes you to do something positive out in the real world, to make things better, then well done.

Volunteering to help vulnerable youngsters, or in youth clubs, as a Special Constable to help the Police have more resources available or even getting involved politically would all be positive steps.

But your original posts were saying there was no official line not to investigate and to the effect that such restrictions wouldn’t happen anyway.
There is no rush to blame anyone in particular - that can come later. There is anger that this was allowed to continue. The idea that the investigations were held back to prevent tensions rising does not excuse anything.

If I did something positive I would be at HMP
Somewhere.
Trying to highlight the injustices that went on and are still going on isnt enough then?
The real world is why I am angry.
Not the digital world.
Are you sure you're not alister campell?

A mother of one of the abused young girls was on radio 4 yesterday.
A very interesting listen.
I guess it can still be found online / podcast etc.
Basically she said 15 years ago when it was occurring she was swept away as an idiot & general annoyance.
Social services blanked her & eventually police ignored her.
she wants those that failed called to task, although mostly they are dead or retired now.
On a positive note, she commented that the new commissioner had supplied her with a wealth of info & 'the ball was rolling'
Worst part of the piece was about one of the scum getting a 13 year old pregnant(having been at her since 11yrs)
he got only 3 years.
on his release the girl bumped into him in a supermarket.
He had another very young girl with him....

This makes you so fecking angry.

It's a condemnation on the country that we have become and the kind of people who took us there.

Same people, same deniers,an ex detective resigns because of the cover up back in 2004.

She has stated that they have were told to find someone of different colour to arrest...actual words by her superior officer.

As been stated a labour MP exposed the rochdale scandal...sacked.

An mp likes

a tweet saying " I wished thses girls would keep quiet for the sake of diversity "..and gets promoted.

Can you see a pattern here.

And it's still happening in towns and cities across the country.

always a Norwood boy, where ever I live.

Exactly tux.
No one is excusing the church etc.
Just as bad.
At present it is Muslim grooming gangs and a demographic whom seem to be untouchable.
Its annoying and frustrating that some want to offset white pedophilia as worse because it's not being given headlines atm.
Everyone who partakes needs hanging.
