Isn't there a minute (or 90 second) delay on live sport so the sound engineers have the opportunity to censor sounds, whether that's from the crowd or one of the commentators / guests slipping up & swearing on air ? Originally posted by Willo
I believe the commentators are adhering to the broadcasting regulations.

Any coincidence, that in the second half, we didnt do all that silly passing along the backline, but hoofed it up the pitch. Man City we aren't,so just clear the ball,or weend up with stupid problems like there goal, print blame Butland ,it was a proxy back passcto him in the first place, and he is not a centre forward,so don't play like one!!

I think the referee was very lenient on Millwall and very harsh on any contact from us. This definitely contributed to the poor looking performance and gave them a platform to put pressure on.

Precisely that ball ..was it Mitchel? was very stupid, there are times to play it around and times not to and when you have two attackers watching your keeper it definitely wasn't the time, I think they watched Swindon Town last night and thought we can do better then that! I liked Swindons right back though Kaine Kesler Hayden he stood out by a mile for them only for me to discover he's on loan from Villa for the season. Edited by Tickled pink (08 Jan 2022 4.36pm)

I tried viewing the Millwall "House of Fun" forum but you have to be a member to view the threads. I can't see how you can register either? I always enjoy viewing other clubs forums just to get a feel fr what they are thinking. Mostly you can switch out the club names and you wouldn't know the difference between clubs. Anyway if anyone knows how to register on HOF please let me know.

Millwall have always been a tough team for us to break down, they got at us and caused us problems nothing against the laws of football about it to worry about.

I too was disappointed that we sat very "Deep". After taking off more attacking threats and bringing on Clyne,Milivojevic and Riedewald, it did occur to me that if Millwall equalised we could be in trouble. We would've been in trouble and it was very fortunate we weren't.

I think Anthony Taylor is one of the better officials and seemed intent on letting a lot go today. Maybe not having VAR to intervene in his decisions lifted the pressure and allowed him to referee more freely.

There's that but also in the first half, there were chants relating to "rent" towards our Chelsea loanee and during the second half towards T. Mitchell's side you could hear multiple times some lone fan chanting "f-ing deck him!" Also the commentators probably hear a lot more, but what gets up on the mic and broadcasted and what doesn't is probably unknown to them Olise got the 'let him die' chant they do as well after he was hacked down on the touchlines, stupid to be surprised though and they can't believe their luck.
