Also Joel Ward's link up play with Gallagher and Ayew gave Spurs real issues in the first half and his defending was excellent
Pretty sure you weren't at the game if you are criticising him

Sounds good, looking forward to it later.

On attending the game - no but watched live on BT Sport as I’m sure a lot of others did on here..!!

But you did apparently all the way from Cornwall - good effort and hats off to you..!!

Firstly - great performance - what really made me smile was all the focus on the players Spurs had missing - hold on we hardly had our best starting XI - no Ferguson/Clyne, Schlupp, Milo, Hughes, Eze, Olise or Edouard - albeit the latter did come on and score 2..!!

So both teams under strength if all players fit and available - so that’s that bit cleared up..!!

For me difference today was the defence - what a difference Guehi and Andersen make - they have pace and can play - whereas last season we were so slow and didn’t have the ability to play out from the back and that put so much strain on the team and then the style we could play..!!

Additionally PV is a lot more attack minded than RH - same scenario last season would have been 0-0 at best - we all remember Villa away - lost 3-0..!!

On Ward - he’s been a great servant but today proved even if it still needed to be proved that he just ain’t good enough at this level and certainly not with the class and quality we have in the squad - he’s just a weak link, out of his depth and it stands out like a sore thumb..!!

Same can be said of Ayew - don’t get me started, can’t control the ball - next touch is a tackle, can’t cross and can’t shoot - what exactly can he do/does he bring to the team..!!!

Both Ward and Ayew IMO were the worst Palace players on the pitch today - and that’s a problem because that’s our entire right flank and the better teams will/would exploit that..!!

Fortunately we have players coming back to fitness that will mean neither will play - in the fullness of time when everyone is fit and available doubt either one will even make the bench..!!

All that said great performance, great result let’s celebrate - enjoy your Saturday nights all..!!

Come on Vieira and COYP...!!

Rubbish - Wardy did okay today.

Looking how they played today, with most of these players being pretty young, imagine how dangerous they'll be when they peak, especially if Palace hold on to them.

They’ll get picked off by big teams if we stay consistent. It’s the nature of things, but we know that. That’s why we’re doing it this way. Because it’s the sustainable way of doing things. Plus Gallagher isn’t ours so next summer there’s a position to fill if Chelsea or someone bigger wants him. This is the frustration of football unfortunately. But I prefer this to dull football or in the championship.

We have moved on, thankfully!

Roy kept us up, I’m grateful for that but the football was absolutely awful, just look back at the comments from supporters and pundits over the last couple of Seasons…setting up for a 0-0 draw at Home to the likes of Southampton or Brighton and getting completely outplayed in the process is just embarrassing and indefensible.

Todays performance shows us what what we have been missing for so long and it rather flies in the face of all of those saying that ONLY with Hodgson and his dull Roy ball tactics could we stay up this season!

Agree. I think they were waiting for immortality for hodgson.

Those that watched on TV was it a penalty? Linesman gave it. Why were Kane and Alli arguing both were nowhere near the incident, continued to argue after VAR

A definate penalty , his arm was in an unnatrual position and stoped the ball from going into a goal scoring chance for in coming players . Kane was giving out all match whinging like a little pussy , tried to con a few free kicks but for once the ref was having none of it .

Stop knocking him, he allowed us to continue in this league so investors could come in to provide the necessary funds which has enabled us to witness what we saw today, Mr Hodgson was no fool.

Agreed but for Roy we wouldn't have stayed in the PL IMO. He did what he was asked which was to keep us in the PL on a virtually non-existent budget. Having said that, I'm glad he's retired and that we got PV in even if he wasn't the club's first choice.

I'm happy with the Palace I have and have always had. I would never dream of slagging off players after a 3-0 win.

You are a troll

Such exciting football ! pleasure to watch after Hodgson Boredom

Absolutely, there’s a lot of love for Roy and what he has done for us, however PV has kept a lot of the core players. Guaita, Ward, Zaha, benteke, Luka, McCarthur, Schlup, koyate…

Nostalgia is a bitch, we played the worse football and slowly got worse over the last 4 seasons. The last one was unbearable. Roy bought sorloth, bargain striker at 9 million. Bench him half season and then sent him on loan. Needless to say how well he’s done in turkey after we sold him. Townsend didn’t get a foot in, we let him go on a free to only to be on a starting eleven of a very solid Everton team.

The main change I feel it’s been on the mentality and the kind of football PV wants his team to play. Zaha had his best game in a long time, I’m sure if I was Zaha I’d also be stroppy playing 4 seasons on my own half with only benteke at the top to hold up play. Conor played with a smile on his face the whole game.

Palace play was exactly a reflection of Roy’s, no energy, slow, steady and get away with just beating the 6 sides below us in the table.
