Roy is starting to get into big trouble here.

Leicester and Sheffield Utd up next... lose both of those and we then have an easy run of Wolves, Arsenal and Citeh. He could be gone by Jan 27

Did you know? 98.0000001% of people are morons.

This is worse than Liverpool: They ARE a worldclass team, whereas we make Villa LOOK like one. 20 mins after the break, nothing happens on the pitch and nothing happens on the bench!!!

Completely agreeing that we should be more alarmed by this performance.

Worst performance for some time. Easy to blame the manager but too many players below par. They are better than us in very position. Don’t know why PVA is playing ahead of Mitchell. He can’t defend. Compare our back four to theirs even without Mings they look far safer. Can’t get hold of the ball in midfield. McArthur looks like he needs a rest. Milo doesn’t have it any more. Can’t get the Eze/Zaha/Benteke link going. Leicester will murder us.

What on earth do you mean, easy to blame the Manager - he's the one that does the coaching, choses the tactics, picks the team, makes the substitutions, does the team talks and establishes the atmosphere..!!

In all these facets/aspects Roy is failing - buck stops with the Manager..!!

He's lost the dressing room, team is not playing for him and he is totally clueless how to arrest/change it..!!

As a tactical analogy in this the Digital world Roy is not just playing 45 records in terms of his tactics, he's playing 33's, 78's and 8 tracks..!!

Today was worse than last week and that's saying something..!!

Most annoying thing is Covid times, with no crowd I don't think the level of dissent and disgruntlement is getting through to the Board.

Parish has been conspicuous by his absence.

Steve understand Susanna is a much more attractive proposition than Roy, but meantime Palace are falling/caving in around your ears. So get back to the day job and get rid of Roy - now and bring in someone with fresh ideas, who can get the most of this squad.

If not we are heading for the Championship and beyond - it's that simple..!!

I have been saying this for weeks, restated it after last weeks debacle - got told I was "loving it" and a "glory hunter" from some corners. Called it again when today's team was announced.

So dissenters - now do you see it - Roy has got to go and now..!!

Getting thumped by Liverpool is one thing, but that was quite pathetic.

How was this the same club who did pretty well against Spurs and W Ham? Looked a world apart

Absolutely no mobility in the middle. Kouyate, Luca, McArthur ...and as for Dann, made to look like a retired footballer by Watkins. And a manager who somehow can't see the obvious.
If PVA leaves at the end of the season too it will be a blessing. Guy cannot defend or make simple passes and a constant liability.

The same goes for the players, a bit of professional pride wouldn't go amiss. Too many freeloaders and past their sell by dates in this team. Parish is going to be busy...

This.

Our roster at the moment is good enough to go on auto-pilot to a mid-table finish. So the question is, what does Roy add for us? Anyone could manage this squad to avoid relegation. We just spent big on Eze, FFS, and we look no better.

The players have completely quit on Roy the past two weeks. That alone tells me it's past time for him to move along. I don't care about tactics or formation or who's on our bench, the only thing that matters at the moment is our players are not even trying anymore. We look like a f***ing joke. That's 100% on Roy. He is currently failing at his job.

If Roy goes, then what? Months without a manager!

I love my palace but after the last 2 games and sitting next door to a villa supporter, giving it the big one that we won't get beat like Liverpool again well this feels worse.

As soon as we went 1 nil down can anybody say hand on heart they were confident we would get back into the game, that to me is the biggest problem

Can anyone suggest where the requisite 22 points we need to stay up are going to come from ?

At this rate Sheff Utd will be getting their first 3 points from us soon.

If we can't afford to buy new players in the January window all I can suggest is we trot out some from our Under 23 team as it is obvious our aging squad just can't cope.

We need replacements for PVA, Luka, Ward, McArthur, Kouyate at the very least. Or perhaps, a new manager who can actually manage the team we've got?
