Jordan gives us a bit more than Batshuayi. Nice to go forward without being called offside every time. No more than an impact sub I am afraid. Good for the season on loan and then return and look elsewhere.

Definitely. Horses for courses but Ayew fits with us a lot better than Bats.

Ayew's work rate is vital to the system. Cant really see a Bats/Zaha partnership working as well.

..Bats is just inches away from fitting in as well as Ayew.

I think that Luka doesn't fit in this team any longer, as we seem to be on the path of a more balanced line up with Eze, Jairo, Andros, and one of the Macs all starters.

Definitely, he is a negative, destructive midfielder and doesn't seem to know any better - hence a favourite with the manager. His red and yellow cards are a minus and we have alternative penalty takers.

The advent of Eze and Reidewald's offensive ability shows our team in a better light. Often media critics have praised the quality of our players but we have not shown it - now we have a chance to show
what we can do and stop becoming a laughing stock at our negative tactics.

Also, we only need another 27 points to ensure survival (again) !!!

Luca on to hold a lead or prevent an onslaught. Still important for the squad.

Meanwhile neutral GD! Not used to not seeing that minus symbol.

Was great to see us come out and go toe to toe with a team instead of the usual negativity. Well done Roy and the boys!. Jairo and Eze playing some great stuff in the middle and always looking to drive forward. Onward and upward.

Would Luca of been sent off last week, without VAR intervention, I doubt it. So some good does come as a result of VAR. McArthur is far more influential in the team, we play better with him playing.

I would commend PVA today.
He could have had a hat trick today and was always looking to break forward.
We usually look more threatening when he plays even allowing for the occasional defensive mistake.
He has a good understanding with Zaha and I think he could build a similar rapport with Eze.
Leeds play offensively which allowed spaces, but still an encouraging performance.

But VAR is reducing the PL to a weekly lottery, some weeks you are lucky, some not.

McCarthur MOTM, Riedewald, Dann, Eze and PVA not far behind.

Leeds are a great team to watch, but the arselicking of Bielsa is tedious. At this level, they are an easy team to work out and Roy masterfully did so today. We will truly see whether he is the tactical genius based on how he bounces back from this, if you don't change things up when it's clearly not working for you then you get what you deserve.

If Leeds were a boxer: Amir Khan

We're some durable Mexican who came out of the womb with his guard up.

PVA’s defending still leaves a lot to be desired. Great going forward he may be, but call me old fashioned I occasionally like to see my left back in the left back area of the field.

Better sides will target him and have a field day.
