Just done a bit of reading up.

I can't believe Trump is even on the street, let alone running for the top job!

He' got a rape charge (on a minor), and a fraud charge to face! How can he even qualify to be a citizen, let alone a candidate? Ok, they are allegations, but what is wrong with you Yankees? He invites this attention. He's a wrong 'un. I know Clinton ain't much better, but a nonce fraudster for President? Come on guys!

Mmmmm....Perhaps anyone who would ever consider you for jury duty should be given this post to read first.

Close your eyes, take a deep breath and cast your mind back to Bill Clinton.

Is it not just the case that the ordinary American is under-represented with both Trump and Clinton's nominations proving how wealth and indeed corruption can buy them power?

I agree, it's sad that these two clowns are vying for the top spot. That's money and influence for you.

Sums it up perfectly.

How anyone can really try and seriously advocate for one of these two to become president I don't know. It betrays basic human values.

I ain't got nuthin' funny to say. Sorry.

She stands for 'white privilege' guilt, black lives matter victim-hood, third wave feminism nonsense and increasing immigration into the country.....that and so many more ideological desires which will continue to weaken her country and reduce its influence.

Trump is a bully and Trump isn't ideal at all but people just don't realise what they are voting for with Clinton.

Or you could see that as concern over racial divides in the US which are well established, racial inequality, a negligent lack of police oversight and accountability and gender inequality. In a country that is neither overpopulated and is built entirely on immigration.

Its important to remember that all of these are well established issues in US society. Women and Blacks in the same job earn on average 25% less than male and white counter parts, the US has a massive problem with police accountability and oversight and race is still a divisive problem in the US.

Where as the alternative seems someone who's intent is to simply state 'lets make America great again or variants of that' over and over.

haha true to an extent, unless of course the candidate in question has been also accusing the other candidate of alleged crimes, threatening to deploy a special prosecutor if elected to target the other candidate and so on.

Apparently according to Trump, Hilary is unfit to hold office due to allegations regarding secure servers and alleged speeches made to Wall Street and assorted crimes - By his own rationality, being accused is sufficient, and he is not fit for office.

Their both questionable, but the guy is a f**king lying bag of s**te, who has demonstrated no knowledge of foreign or domestic policy and his capacity for debate and argument are on a par with schoolyards across the country

He is indeed a lying bag of s***e, the trouble is so is she. Fortunately she does have some knowledge of foreign and domestic policy.

But I can see why people would be reticent to vote for more of the same in her. People obviously feel that the rich are getting richer and the middle classes in America are getting left behind. I just don't understand why their solution would be to vote for an old, fat, white man who only succeeded in life because his father left him a fortune (and continued to provide him funding when he was failing)

The darkest moment for me was the needless and cruel attack on POW McCain: 'I like people who weren't captured'.

Of course he disparaged the family of a dead muslim solider too though gets a complete let off from some on that, realistically solely because the family is muslim.

140 million men in the US of A and he is the best the The Republicans can come up with for a President?

They've done criminals, Nixon, they've done Hollywood, Reagan, they've done nepotism, Bush jr, and now they are going for the bigoted, a bit sick and deranged, Donald Fvck.

Gotta love the right-wing out there. Yee-haw!

Trump wouldn't be my choice but I'm hoping he wins personally. With the congress and the house he isn't going to get the more controversial elements of his programme through anyway.

The problem with Clinton is what comes with her. It's the 'white privilege' guilt, the 'black lives matter' victim-hood, the third wave feminism doctrine, the anti police disposition.....It's that section of the left that want to get people sacked or censor the non violent views of those they don't like.

I can't stand these people and I don't wish them on America for four years.

Bear in mind that in the US, that cuts both ways, the Right are very quick to demand censor, advertising boycotts, funding rescheduling of anything they don't like as well, and aren't beyond backdoor censorship and control by use obscure state powers and authority to circumnavigate supreme court rulings (actually rights).

Of course the US is at a dead end, not a crossroads, where the only reasonable decision is to actually go backwards, and restructure the democratic process, because both paths forward present troubling issues for the US in terms of its future and its constitution.

The difference, that the democrats want to pursue something like this, the republicans have been doing it for over a decade.

The upside however of Trump winning is that its going to likely end up in some kind of impeachment resignation, or series of issues that spectacularly backfire - which certainly will be more amusing.
