I have always disagreed with privatising water. I would happily see rail nationalised if we could replicate the systems in Europe such as Italy or France, but they have outlawed strikes on essential services which Lynch and his outdated cronies would never accept.

You have the ridiculous situation in UK where offers from employers do not have to be put to the membership for ballot so a few self serving union officials control the process.

I still remember as a caveat the appalling service and constant strikes of British Rail, bit I don't remember having to stand very often which I think is a sign of vastly increased usage as the population has grown.

Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance.
