Here in Malta there is a divide among the locals between those who support Italy and those who support England, so the final is highly anticipated. Being in a bar full of Maltese singing 'Football is coming home' is both bizarre and amusing. An Italian boy from my daughter's class has already messaged her to say "football is not coming home" so this has stirred my interest and I will now be daubing my chest in a red cross and threatening anyone riding a Vespa. Having said that England winning the euros registers on around the 'Palace getting a draw with Spurs in the league' scales. Maybe if Eze had made the squad I might have cared more, as it is I almost felt like I was faking an orgasm when Kane scored the other night (like Kane it probably would have taken me two tries to get it in as well).

Palace don’t even put out our best team in FA cup matches anymore. Can’t see us ever winning it. Edited by Casual (10 Jul 2021 4.00pm)

We used to moan about foreign teams diving, now we are about the worst Indeed,We are a tad light on our feet , especially in the penalty area, but if thats what gets us to the final? Club every day.

I’m going to be controversial here, as much as I love Palace - England for me..!! Just love the feeling of the whole nation being together, pulling in one direction, supporting one joint cause and celebrating together. Even my wife and daughter - who never watch or take any interest in football are absolutely loving it - they’ve even got England tops for tomorrow’s game..!! You just can’t beat that feeling of the whole nation being together and cheering on the boys and going through the emotions together. Icing on the cake is that one of our very own is at the helm..!! Come on Gareth, COYE and COYP..!!

Gareth was only a Villa player, just like Ian Wright was only Arsenal.

Years ago this would have been a close call. 55 years of under-achieving has really blunted my enthusiasm for the national side. Palace winning the cup would be just fabulous. Won't be unlucky a third time!
I have now sufficient funds to last me the rest of my life. Provided I don't buy anything. |

I would take us staying up this season over England winning the Euros all day long to be honest, let alone winning the FA Cup.

What - so our 3rd top goal scorer in our clubs history and top since 1935 and made more appearance for Palace than he did for Arsenal - was only ever an Arsenal player..!! Gareth played 152 games for Palace scoring 15 goals between 1988 and 1995 - 7 years the longest he spent at any club - but only a Villa player? Are you for real..!! COYP

It's Palace every single time for me. Not even a moments hesitation. I have cared about England in tournaments on and off over the years, and got right back into it during the last World Cup but for reasons I can't fully understand this current, highly successful, euros has left me slightly indifferent.

Love Palace and love England both the same. Get the hump with them sometimes, but don’t see why the ‘club before country’ is seen as a badge of honour, doesn’t mean that you love Palace more than me, just means your not as into England like I am. Come on England!!
