He had recovered from the surgery on his previous injury. Then got injured in training near the end of last season. Similar to the Eze injury I believe. He won't be ready for the start of the season. I'm guessing a month or two.

Wish we'd taken him on a trial.

We did. Unfortunately, we didn't read the fine print and realise that it was a medical trial.

There was a two for one on ruptured achilles treatments so we thought we'd just get Ferguson's out of the way now

C'mon AS, you ought to know better, Xmas+ if we're lucky.

This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise.

To be fair to the lad he has to be gutted about his injury situation.

If he does get back to full fitness then i think we will have a pretty decent player on our hands and he is still quite young.

Some people think football is a matter of life and death. I don't like that attitude. I can assure them it is much more serious than that.

Wasn’t it Jack Hunt who we signed as a right back, suffered a bad injury and never played for us.
Unfortunate for Ferguson but it’s starting to look like the same could happen to him.
We do seem to have more than our fair share of injury prone players.

He was playing for Barnsley or someone recently enough. Willo probably knows. He wasn't bad, but never played for us, basically.

Jack Hunt last season played a lot of games (Don't know the precise number) for Bristol City.
Lee Johnson signed him for the club.

He never played for us after Holloway signed him for £2 Mill.It wasn't because he was injured for several months like poor Ferguson.Hunt had a broken ankle, was out for I believe 3 months, then had a few loan spells before he left our club, signing for Sheff Wed.
