Odds on Dougie being the next Next Permanent Manager of Crystal Palace 13-1 (Oddschecker) was 15-1.

Yeah, get 'im in and then in a few months when we're rooted to the bottom of the table with a minus 5000 goal difference we can give him the boot and that'll be the last time we see him at Palace. No more DoF, no more daft signings.

I take it you haven't watched the Palace documentary. If you had you will know they were Dougie's signings.

All that DF mea culpa was bordering on the vomit inducing. Looked like aPR stunt to get him acceptable to fan base.

Club legend , yes to a degree, potentially good PL manager, not IMHO.

Can see it though, with Shaun Derry playing the Lewington role.

It was a one sided point of view they features only a handful of people on it.

If you had listened Dougie gave a list of players he wanted the list could of come from anyone he didn't hand select everyone of those players himself.

No, I bloody hope not. As I’ve said before why? His stats are awful, worse than Peter Taylor’s, he’s no PL experience and he failed, dismally, at Bolton and Forest.
Why would this be a good appointment ?

He is also the Sporting Director that put the current team together bringing in such superstars as Max Meyer, Alexander Sorloth and Jaroslav Jach in the process.

He also failed at Bolton and Nottingham Forest so perhaps management really isn't his forte

sorloth was a hodgson signing from a scandi contact.

we still made money on him tbf. he effectively paid for eze.

Well, it was never going to be Nuno, was it?
Freedman, with about two days to go before the season starts.
