True but you can say the same about us really, we only need a reliable right back, two centre backs, two central midfielders, a couple of wingerr, another striker and a manager and we'd probably be knocking on that door too.

Fine margins.

In answer to the original question : Gary Megson or Mark Hughes.... maybe Steve Bruce.

You fed me, you bred me, I'll remember your name.

Really? A c nut of a manager?

He made a mistake by leaving but haven’t we all made mistakes in our life?

DF laid the foundation for the team that went up and stayed in the premiership. He brought in some excellent players, many who were signed for a pittance.

We have had far, far worse managed than Dougie.

And I think language and words like that should be barred from this website, surely you can have a forum discussion without including words like this no matter how they are spelt. Just my opinion..

People have short memories. Many of the promotion winning side were picked up by Dougie on a shoestring. He clearly left the club in a better place than when he joined.
One would ask why this is in Palace talk.

I'm not too bothered to be honest.

Just leave Nuno alone - I'd like to see him at our place.

Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled.

I think that nowadays moderating is on a reactive basis rather than proactive so if you want to bring a thread or post to the mods attention you can do that by clicking the relevant "report" icon
