No he does not..!!! So you’re happy with all these turgid performances are you? If Roy gets another year we go down it’s as simple as that..!!! Roy has reached and in reality is past his sell by date as a Manager - don’t get me wrong he has done great for us but his race is run and time is done. If he stays another year - he’s last season will be a year where he takes us to relegation and he’ll probably sacked at some point during the season. Which will be a shame. Time is now for Roy to go - plain as the nose on your face. Go now Roy and retire to your Villa in Portugal - that I agree he deserves..!! COYP
I think Roy will stay. I see no reason why Dyche would come to this club. Why would he leave a squad he knows well and are of the same calibre as us? And there is compensation to take into account. Howe, I believe was offered the job in the past, but turned it down. We will hardly be tempting him with a lucrative deal plus funds to spend. Lampard is way too risky as he is untried with a relegation prospect if we were to be in that situation. All this talk of him bringing through the youngsters, as well as as already been said about our youth set-up at the moment, and how new our academy Cat 1 status is, there is also the fact that Chelsea were under a transfer ban when he was appointed, so he had little choice but to use the youth team squad. He had 1 transfer window before he was sacked I believe. I hope Roy takes another year at the helm, as it will assure another season at the top table whilst we slowly rebuild the ageing squad. What you constantly write about him is nothing more than your opinion. If he was as bad as you harp on about he would not have been offered a contract last season. It's as simple as that! As plain as the nose on your face! Your hatred of him clouds your mind.

If Roy is staying then it would have been announced by now surely. It’s time to try something new with fresh ideas and looking at what Roy has been saying and his general body language it seems he has had enough.

I haven't heard him say anything about leaving or not signing a new contract or any problems with Parish. So what are you "looking at"? And, what does his body say that makes you think he has had enough?

Just the whole thing about him saying he will make an announcement when he is ready, that would suggest a retirement statement rather than him staying which the club would announce. He sounds more negative by the week. Just the vibe I get that’s all.

I am looking forward to seeing operate next season in "England Manager" mode using all the talent available from four sources. Under 18 team - top of their league Alternative should he leave is that a new manager will be tempted by the opportunity to make his mark. Either way, there is potential for an early bet - when are odds released for the 2021/2022 season?

What I would like to ask Roy and I would be extremely interested to know his thinking on this subject : Why has this club bought two players on loan with the club paying I would imagine large loan fees for Mateta and Bats only to be bench warmers. Is it a case that Freedman has bought these players in without his agreement or is it a case that they are not to Hodgson liking.

For me, the manager has to work with the recruitment team to play the system the manager wants to play. The recruitment team cannot be going off doing its own thing. Roy’s number one objective is to keep the club in the league. He has passed with flying colours. But the recruitment policy is way off for me. We spent 26m odd on Sakho for Frank de Boar. Sakho was never a FdB signing. Forced upon by the board because he had done well on loan. We then spent on Camerasa, 1.5m loan fee plus 3.5m in wages Regardless of who the manager is, if you sign players that they do not fancy then it’s unlikely going to be an good investment.
