"Stand" is perhaps the wrong choice of words.

He’s got this and macro economic football matters right but he isn’t the right person to be taking palace forward and neither are the Americans. Parish expecting to stay as chairman in the media may be a big reason why we can’t be sold also.

Stand out as in bouffant perhaps. I saw myself in the mirror today and noticed that what little I do have has gone nearly white. I blame lockdown. I won't be emulating Steve. I was thinking "stand" as in "main".

As do I but maybe he has done a good job in selling himself to potential buyers

While I agree Parish has behaved well and come across excellently in the last couple of days, to a point where both a Chelsea fan mate and an Arsenal fan mate both texted me on seperate occassions and said they wished they had a bloke like Parish running their club. But.... Hypathetically if say Palace had done a Leicester in the last couple of years and won the Prem, prompting these teams to invite Palace in to their little gang and collect a 500m entry fee (with the promise of another minimum 150m a year for participation) can you 100% hand on heart say he wouldn't be interested? I couldn't. Majority fan owned clubs were never going to join PSG is odd as same owner as Man City

SP - bloody nice chap, decent Chairman, shame he has no money to back up his desire to see Palace as a top team, with a top stadium.

It’s strange, they would surely have been invited, perhaps we will never know the reasons behind the decision When the dirty dozen made the announcement they said three others were to join. I suspect the clever ones held back and would have joined up if they thought it was going to happen. Maybe PSG was one of those. Says a lot about Scottish football that the big 2 weren't even in the frame.
