Palace 2 Chelski 1.Zaha and Schluppy. Chelski played tonight in Spain that might help us.

Chelsea have a large talented squad of players to call on.
Including the goalkeeper 6 of those that started tonight played the whole game,2 of the starters only played for 65 mins, a couple played for 80 mins and 1 was replaced in the final minute.

I cannot see beyond a comfortable Chelsea victory 0-2.

Yes, they played midweek. But was looking at their bench, stacked with the likes of Giroud, Kante, Pulisic, Ziyech, Abraham.....still plenty of rested firepower to hurt us. Unfortunately I'm going 4-1 Chelsea.

I believe we will get something from the game, Chelsea will rightly be thinking about the Champions League

Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance.

A reality check.
We have lost our last SIX league games against Chelski. Our only win against then under Hodgson was (ironically) our first victory after that awful 7 game horror show of 'nul points' and no goals. Even then our first goal was scored for us by Chelski!

Turning to Saturday, I will be delighted if we can scrape a draw (and gob-smacked if we win). I'm expecting a defeat, sadly. Indeed, we could still have 38 points after this and the following two games (Leicester and Citeh).

I totally agree.
I cannot envisage us attaining any points in our next 3 games.

Obviously but there is that quiet space in my mind telling me nothing has gone to plan this season so I am going to say we will reach 40 points after the next 3 games.

Willo your predictions have given us zero points for each and every game. Probably good job you are obviously not a betting man, you would have to remortgage your wallet.Trust you will be renewing your season for 2021/22.

Chelsea play on Tuesday after playing us so expect a completely different team than against Porto in the 1st leg but they definitely have the players to cover the 2 games. Hopefully the chopping and changes will play into our hands as we will need them to be of the boil.

Interesting that posters on The Shed are less than delighted with Tuchel so far. Fickle lot, football supporters. Say he needs to start getting more points from mid to lower end clubs. Some wag has suggested they start with Roy Hodgson's Palace.

Probably right though. I'm on the side of 'delighted with a draw' crew. Methinks they have too much quality for us to conquer.

Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled.
