This is very disrespectful to Mr Hodgson who is respected globally, has managed some of the most famous clubs in the world as well as on the International stage in a management career which commenced 45 years ago and has ensured our survival in the PL season-on-season on a relative pittance.

In his defence, I didn't think he could do anything at Newcastle but he did a very good job. That surprised me.

Non Palace fans may also remember him for making Palace the drabbest team in the PL. Most don't consider keeping Palace in the PL much of an achievement. Unlike us of course. I think he'll be forever remembered for the Iceland debacle. Non Palace fans may also remember him for making Palace the drabbest team in the PL. Most don't consider keeping Palace in the PL much of an achievement. Unlike us of course.

I agree. His career has been very hit and miss. He done well at Valencia and Liverpool but was sacked very early in his reign by Inter and Real Madrid and seems have a history of falling out with boards and fans,
