Disagree we still have some quality players but if you do not focus on their strengths they will look poor and lack confidence.

Injuries can be for many reasons and I expect it's again due to the system and Roy being so stubborn a lot of talk about rotation but he doesn't do this unless forced to.

Have you even been watching Palace the so called counter attacking is terrible under Roy go back and watch Palace first season being promoted on wards when we countered it was with purpose and speed now its low risk and very slow.

The other thing you cant keep playing the same way changes need to be done for when you go up against different teams we have seen this against teams we should be beating or minimum a draw yet they go and score 3 times against us Burnley game sums it up.

We are not solid in defense anymore look at the goal difference is is poor and Roy can make all the excuses up he wants about this team put 7 past us or 5 past us that is still goals conceded and as mentioned above Burnley put 3 past us complete joke.

At the end of the day for a team which has been in this league a long time now the football is unacceptable we have some quality players its not like we are using championship level players (even those seasons we used that level player it was some better football at time)

Money has been spend so this excuse cant be used, the Americans who people like to keep blaming for everything negative (cant blame SP for anything he is a god) put in cash when that was not the role coming into this club SP even stated this on day 1 they was about improving training/ground etc not the playing squad.

When did Roy get money to spend?????? £50 mil from AWB - he had to make do with 5mil for Ayew and McCarthy - and those two buys basically kept us up last season. He can't rotate players if they're unavailable through injury, so do you blame the injury records of Tomkins, Cahill, Sakho, Dann, Kelly, Schlupp and MacArthur (lately), on Roy????? It's hard to rotate when you only have 14 players available. And Luka, McArthur, Townsend, Ward, McCarthy, and all our central defenders are past their peak, Roy has NOT been given sufficient funds to replace these players or enhance the squad, and we aren't as quick on the break anymore because we don't have a Bolasie and Puncheon in their prime on each wing. We have splashed out on Eze, and you can argue he has not been deployed as effectively as he might, but he is not part of the spine of the team, and to change the dynamic of our play we need to upgrade the supply to the likes of Eze and Zaha, and Roy has not been given the chance to do that, and I think that is what is stalling our progress, not Roy, he's just keeping us ticking over until we can implement the improvements needed to the ground as well as our level of financial investment.

So we have had our goolies handed to us a few times this season by the big teams, But Benteke actually can score and darn well at times. Ezre is awesome. Townsend still has it at times. Zaha we love you. Our keeper is as good as anyone. We beat Brighton. and I think we are staying up by the current looks of things. FA Cup and League next year?

Really?? Have you not noticed how many times we’ve been totally outclassed since last June, well I’ve lost count myself. Even scraping a draw and winning against Fulham and Weed we were rubbish and we can’t keep up that sort of luck for ever. Love Roy for what he’s done, but him and a lot of the players are past their best with us and it’s showing big time. We may well end up with a decent haul of points this season, but it’s papering over the cracks as they say, things seriously need freshening up.

This hits the nail firmly on the head. Well said.

Sorloth cost with addons nearly 20m
Eze again near 20m
kouyate around 10m
mccarthy around 4m
Ayew around 4m
butland around 1-2m

So yes he has spent money it's not a case of he has had nothing also this doesn't include loans which have fees costing millions.

He chose this time and time again he states he has no interest in transfers so he must be presented with options and is declining them or as he sates he is happy will the full squad.

More rubbish from you players get injured because they are not rotated every week its the same old names unless an injury happens even when we have had to play 2-3 games a week.

We have a 25 man squad this doesnt include youth which he has no interest in even using again you just keep making excuses all team have injuries its part of sports.

We have had players available in positions and he still refuses to select them heres a clear example center defense he keeps sticking kouyate in their when we have many options which are natural for that position

Punch never was quick have you ever even watched palace play not sure you have and yes bolazie left so what doesnt stop quicker counter attacks again more excuses.

My entire time of supporting Palace, I have basically expected them to be pretty rubbish. That way, I get the odd nice surprise, like 1980 and 1990 for example. We're not total rubbish now, just pretty rubbish for the Premier League. And above Brighton. Overall it's slightly better than our usual yo-yo or Championship status.
As for individual players, I genuinely don't think many are that good at the moment. Probably adequate is how I would describe most of our players. Wilf is the obvious quality and Eze obvious potential.
I think a couple of our youngsters are ok though and might get some chances next season. Mitchell could improve too.

£20m? Original price is mooted to have been £9.5m. Where on earth did the £10m add-ons come from? What did he do for us to earn any add-ons? He was sold for 20m euros (plus add-ons - haha).

it was 9m up front and it would of gone up to 20m with addons one of those was sell on fee.

Palace didnt get 20m for him they had to split the deal so he was sold for around 10m

Thing is we have become a rest home for journeymen footballers in the twilight years of their careers. They were once great players at the top of their game but have passed their peaks and , although still capable and occasionally excellent, are now slowing down. Too many are now seeing their time out at Palace where they can earn a good wage and no one expects too much. Eze was a great signing but we need half a dozen more if we are too refreshen the squad this summer. I hope Parish has a plan.

I didn't say we got 20m euros, just that he was sold for that amount. I am fully aware we had to split the proceeds with the Turks. But back to your claim, Sorloth DIDN'T cost us £20m, so why did you say he did? It seems to me that your dislike (or hatred?) of Hodgson tends to warp your arguments.

Reports suggest we broke even on Sorloth if you include the loan fees from his 2 loan spells and our share of his transfer fee. I don’t know where the 20m comes from we were never spending that on him?
The rest of your figures made me chuckle? Are you joking? He’s spent money! f***ing hilarious! How long has he been here? The players and fees listed are so funny! Less than most teams spend when they get promoted.
We are pretty near the bottom of every transfer spend table for the last 5 years.
Criticising Roy is fine but don’t say he has had money to spend.... joke!

You are missing the point it was to go up to 20m because of the addons we had paid upfront 9m to his former club this doesnt include any of the bonuses to the player or anything else.

SO lets keep it simple Palace paid 9m up front they would of had to give a % of his next transfer up as well which is reported as 20-30% well he transferred for 20m that is 6m taking it to 15m

i expect this is too complex for you to understand maybe just stick to thesun comments section

Firstly, the correct word is 'have' not 'of'. Clearly English is not one of your strong points.

Secondly, you made no reference to any sell-on fees in your original post. You simply tried to convey that Sorloth 'cost' £20m. The fact is that he didn't - end of story.
