I was wondering this. I think the term used on website was “significant interest”. This used to mean someone with 10% share, I believe, which £5m certainly isn’t. Surely just a loan would not warrant this, is he a frontman for a yet unknown consortium? Could explain lack of movement on Roy’s contract but this may be well off the mark Is it not still 10%?

He is a very wealthy trader and an expert in trading Aluminium and Cobalt. Used to work for Glencore. This looks to be new shares (thus diluting someone else's holding. No know other investments in sports clubs. Another mouth to feed then but £5m in today's terms is buttons

So I manage a Workshop which provides a safe learning environment for blokes struggling with PTSD and other mental health issues. Being a Palace fan isn't listed yet. |

Perhaps we have an expert on company law in our fold? I can’t think of any other reason why such a small investment has been made or allowed. Would this investment allow Harris and Blitzer to be bought out and then make the new owner the majority shareholder ahead of Parish? Of course it may just be that they needed some cash and have gifted a few corporate boxes for 20 years for an up front amount. All supposition of course, perhaps all will be revealed shortly.
