Doesn't your body also need some of the fats (complete with a bit of 'bad' cholesterol)to help with the repair and condition of brain cells? This could account for a lot of things too!

Plant protein and fats are not healthy or bio available to humans this is a fat you would need to consume more then 3 times the amount which also would give negative effects. calories counting useless this method was created by mainstream its made up like RDA (recommended daily allowances) protein you do based on your weight. classing fruit as not sugary o my that is what fruit is fructose which is worse then just standard sugar this person again shows they dont have a clue what they are talking about. porridge is a mix of fats with carbs again poor for your health plus grans shouldn't be in human diet they are awful for us. WHat it does to your body is damage it short term this may feel good but long term this is going to put these players in bad shape plus you are not getting the correct building blocks for recovery/repair which would explain low energy plus injuries (the other reason could be switching to different diets can take time to adapt some do it in few weeks others it takes months) Only good thing is the eggs and in the article was some mention of fish so not sure why some mention about veganism this is nothign to do with that To state it simply they are eating just high carb and high protein diet but the protein is coming from poor sources if you exclude the eggs.

I seem to remember a Fish'n'chip diet worked for Alf Tupper, but not to many on here would remember him.

As a Nutritionist myself, I wouldn't call it terrible - I just think it's poorly explained by the head chef or whoever was interviewed. They probably do have fruit but in moderation and it's wrong to say it's not sugary. There's a lot of studies out there that are very pro Veganism with elite athletes now, especially around recovery.

A very easy video to follow explaining it for you simple minded people [Link] Regarding masks again backed up by facts read the research papers which have done studies for multi years testing masks and whats the point of having proper certified FFP if you can wear any old thing to protect you. Those names you listed know about nutrition what they are told again this just shows you know f all what you are on about plus AJ is not vegan Do you have an qualifications in nutrition I didn't think so I do. Those athletes you listed was not build on vegan diet they switched to mostly plant based later on and what is common in all of them their performance levels have declined Good try kid when you get educated come back with some facts. (just ask the people that understand not listen to mainstream BS) Originally posted by Crazy_Eagle

Did you read those studies I don't expect you have if you had you would see they are built on false models from the get go (veganism is an ideology its not about health or fitness for humans) Edited by grumpymort (03 Mar 2021 6.17pm)
