As he seems to live in that black puffa jacket it's a resounding No from me.

No, sorry but he'd be worse than Roy is, played on a buzz last season with tactics teams didn't expect but they've been figured out and with a lack of funds they can't change anything. That shows that Wilder is good at what he does but when it doesn't work they're pretty much at the end of the road. At least we will never go down under Roy, even though it lacks so much ambition.

All there games have been pretty close, and our squad is much better than theirs.

I think he, and a number of other managers would be able to keep us up comfortably.

Since the start of the calendar year, they've picked up 3 less points than us.

I have no interest in a manager coming in to keep us up. If that's the brief for the next manager to come in then I'll pack up and go home. It's that depressingly unambitious mindset that has lead to the garbage we're watching most weeks.

Not on your nelly. We need a young, creative attack minded manager who isn't afraid to give it a go. And no , no one comes to immediate mind!

I am enjoying being back at Selhurst and having a beer with my mates just like we have done for the past 40 years. Through Thick and thin we stick with our club. Not chairman, players or managers, OUR CLUB!

Sorry, have I missed something, why replace Roy with a manager whose team is bottom of the league and I think is worse than Palace?!
At least Palace have some wins under their belt.
SU punched above their weight last year, but they've been undone this season along with their manager, nice chap though he is.

Come the day when Hodgson departs, don't be surprised if his successor is a left-field appointment taking everyone by surprise.

It depends on whether Parish's fingers are still burning from the De Boer episode. It would be refreshing to get someone in who is not an immediately obvious and/or uninspiring choice, although some credentials would be preferable!

With the inevitable soon to happen to Roy either by sacking or he leaves, I think this will be Roy’s last season and hopefully the board have a list of candidates at the ready for his successor.

If Sheffield were to get rid of wilder would you consider him a good choice here at palace.

I know Sheffield aren’t doing great this season but you can’t fully blame Wilder for this, with them losing key players from last season especially. He got them from league 1 to a top half finish in the Prem last season and if he had a squad of our quality I doubt Sheffield would be in this position.

I think I remember hearing on here that Sam Allardyce even suggested that wilder was his successor, so at least we know he has big Sams backing.

This thread should be shut down for calling Sheffield United , Sheffield.
