I reckon I'd be worth the occasional sub appearance for Belgium playing up front against some of the int'l opponents they have faced and with De Bruyne, Mertens, Lukaku, Hazard, Witsel, Tielemans etc etc behind me.

Batshuayi looks half ar$ed at best for most of this season and yesteday was his worst performance, often not even paying attention when the ball was played into his feet, that happened on numerous occasions.

I still believe as others have said that Wilf should at least start on the right and Andros on the left. Until that happens it is going to be very difficult to give the right service to whoever plays in the centre.
Ayew/Batshuayi/Benteke my preferred CF would be Ayew who at least tries to put himself in the positions and although Benteke does that too plus other stuff Ayew scores occasionally. Batshuayi just doesn't fit in although he did when Loftus-Cheek played as then the opposition are back-pedalling and there is more space.

Batshuayi has a remarkable scoring record for Belgium. Is he yet another player who does not fit our rigid style of play ? If so and looking at all the others who didn’t fit either .....would anybody score regularly with our style of play ? Do we just have to face up to the fact that our manager is setting up from the back with any forwards getting little service and trying to live off the odd scrap ?

Starting to think that whatever striker we bring him, we'll find a way to ruin him.
