I dont think we are too far from being an option for Poch.
Hs job prior to Spurs was Southampton who are a club almost identical size and structure wise to us.

He had a great run at Spurs but had a catastrophic final period there (post CL final) which might put off the super clubs such as Madrid etc.
Cant see United sacking Ole any time soon as the fans seem to be keen for him to stay.

Id love Poch, he'd get our current team balanced and playing proper football.. we definitely have a capable enough squad.

there is more chance of me having a threesome with Paris Hilton and Kim Kardashian than Pochettino managing our club, are you having a laugh? I hope no Brighton or West Ham fans see this thread - we'd never live it down. If we had proper money bags co-owners and not the insipid New Jersey suits we have instead, and if plans were well underway to upgrade the stadium and capacity, then someone in the Hasenhutl, Nuno class might consider us, but they won't with the current hiatus and the dilapidated hovel that is Selhurst - atm we are in the Dyche, Bilic, Pearson league. People were surprised when Pardew took a step down to come here. If anyone wants to back Pochettino to be Palace manager by the start of next season we can exchange bank details - I'm offering odds of 10,000 to 1.

Betfair gives odds of 66/1...Harry Redknap, Mark Bright, John Salako, Neil Warnock and Gareth Southgate are all narrower...

I am a bit more intrigued by Ralf Rangnick (on the Betfair list) but let's be real. Dyche is our man for as long as we want to remain Premier League parasites.

As an aside...in the environment he's working in, and given his age, I do worry for Roy's health.

If you want to live in a world full of kindness, respect and love, try to show these qualities.

That’s a massive over exaggeration.

Paris Hilton is nothing great these days a Kim Kardashian is about as far removed from the real world as possible, so not absolutely impossible.

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

We’re a million miles away .. more chance of Roy playing attacking football and the club having a sensible ST set up.

thank you - life without hope is unbearable. I don't know who the sex symbols are these days - used to be Anna Kournikova, I'm old enough to have been aroused (remotely!) by Raquel welch and Brigitte Bardot, the two I mentioned were the best I could come up with, and there's as much much of any of them getting the Palace job as Pochettino.

One of the top 5 managers in the world, for me.
Not a chance in hell.

Gosh I'd love it though.

I can't believe I'm reading what I'm reading from some posters. Threads like this should be banned!

You can imagine Poch weighing up his options...

mmm Barcelona, Manchester United, Real Madrid..... actually no, I'll hang around in case the top job at Palace becomes available!

*insert facepalm*

Pochettino talked about a "Project" - I very much suspect that he has never ever considered the possibility of engaging in a project at our club!

In terms of the big/bigger clubs in the PL, I cannot envisage, in the foreseeable future, any project becoming available at Liverpool,Arsenal,Chelsea,Everton,Leicester,Wolves etc.
Perhaps Guardiola will depart at the end of the season and the Man C job will become available or Man Utd will decide to call time on Solskjaer.

There are those, however, who believe that his record, thus far,is not consistent with the plaudits that have come his way and the esteem in which he is held.

Pochettino is not considered a top tier manager, but the level below. He isn’t regarded a winner, how many years was he at Spurs with nothing to show for it, Arteta took over Arsenal and won the FA cup within months, that’s the difference.
Your good self and other posters have more chance of being the next manager.
