I wouldn’t hold your breath waiting for that to happen. He will leave Palace when his contract runs out and disappear into the abyss. His career fizzled out well before it’s time. Go to a side that dominates its domestic football on a 3 year contract. Smash it. Go to a decent side. His doors are not closed, he just made an epic mistake joining us. I could see Meyer shining at any one of our top clubs, receiving quality ball from the back and passing into a side with good movement.
If you want to live in a world full of kindness, respect and love, try to show these qualities. |

Just read his interview on cpfc and he is saying that this season as we are now playing 4-4-2 that he is playing the number 8 role, box to box midfielder. He is one of my favourite Palace players but if we are relying on him to link play between defence and attack, things will not go too well. He hasn’t the legs for that role. Roy has more option than ever now but has no clue how to fit them all in. Edited by EddieMac (21 Oct 2020 8.09am)

Don't care if he's 33...puts in a bigger shift than anyone else in the team every week.

Why pick on him ? After yesterday I could go through the team and pick on each of their shortcomings ! He is a great tryer (which is all the manager admires) but lacks attacking skills. I'd concentrate on Wilf - ineffective, disinterested and going through the motions.
As for Wilf...I don’t think I’ve seen him have a less effective 90 minutes for us, EVER! (Taken penalty aside he was shocking).
