So the premier clubs have decided to put the non televised games on pay per view. Many of us have paid for season tickets then sky and BT . I will probably pay for the Fulham game but with quite a lot of resentment. Should we boycott It ? It's a yes from me! Very likely the non televised games will not be worth the effort anyway. No more money will be forthcoming from me this season.

Presumably the logistics of refunding so many people ( as it becomes clear that fans wont be attending) are better done in maybe 3 hits (Dec / March / June) rather than monthly - They have learnt from Ryanair and Easyjet how to handle refunds

You cant really boycott something you haven't yet participated in. I wonder how many people want the owners to invest millions more in the club, yet won't shell out £15 to watch us.

A certain Chairman said that matchday supporters were not necessary to maintain club income and to keep the club afloat. Don't bite the hands that feed, is my response.
I disengage, I turn the page. |

I have now sufficient funds to last me the rest of my life. Provided I don't buy anything. |

Of course you can, you can boycott paying £15 for something you can watch for free elsewhere. I stream the match every time I don’t go to a game, which obviously is all of them at the moment and don’t think for one minute that much of the £15 goes to our billionaire owners, it lines Sky’s pockets. You can go to virtually any country in the world and watch any game you like and yet we have been conned into watching a few games of their choice for years and still pay over the odds for it. I have zero sympathy or empathy for Sky in trying to fleece us still further.

I thought this was going to be an update on the Kenny Lunt v Forrest Thread Ohh they were the days. £15 = A Lunty For those of us old enough to remember and want a walk down memory lane some laugh out moments and close to the mark comments. Edited by Apollofuzz (12 Oct 2020 1.18pm)

I suppose we have been spoilt by them showing every game in recent months. I won't be paying it - can't afford to shell out any more money over and above what I pay for Sky/BT/Amazon so I will just have to make do with whatever games they show as part of those services and MOTD. Its a shame but not a big surprise really.
Some people think football is a matter of life and death. I don't like that attitude. I can assure them it is much more serious than that. |

Croydon Schoolboys U15 kick off in their National Cup Final v Sefton Schoolboys at 3pm on the 24th Oct - apparently being streamed live on the ESFA YouTube channel - first Croydon team to reach a national final in 40yrs apparently - U13's also play in a National Final the week after v Gateshead - I know there are a couple of palace kids play in the U13's district team Hopefully Covid won't cause these to be postponed - might be worth a watch

Going along with it, just encourages more of this in future.
