Benteke is still a useful player but just not suited to our style anymore. If were raining in crosses he’d get 10+ a season still. He’d do well in a Spurs plan B, Llorente role. I wish him well whatever happens. Had a terrific first season with us which kept us up.

Also, he is an outlet from defence and if he can link with Wilf and the two wide men (presumably Eze and Townsend) he could do a reasonable job for us. Presumably Ayew will be on the bench (unless he's joined the queue for the treatment table).
