I really don’t understand why people are always so negative and actually think that we will get relegated or buy into we are fourth favourites to go down. Our squad is strong, Roy has a formula which means we will not be fighting relegation. We were poor towards the end of last season but the players had nothing to play for and lacked motivation, that is flipping obvious. Brighton, West Ham, Burnley , will struggle alongside the 2 favs to go down. Leeds everyone In the industry seems to think they are safe (on what basis?) Not sure about a strong squad .. we haven't kicked off the season yet and they are already dropping like flies. We have a very crowded injury room.

I saw on the predicted lineups Leeds are due to start Bamford up top and West Brom Robson Kanu. On that basis I think we’ll be ok this season. Agreed universal

Six out of the 12 Times sports journalists have us favourites for relegation in their PL supplement today. Unless we have some better attacking ideas and find a creative midfielder I agree with them.

I'd say Brighton, WH and Villa are bigger candidates for the drop. I think you can add Burnley and Sheffield United to that list.
