Some people will never be happy. All transfers come with a risk factor but I think this could be one of our best transfer windows for years without blowing millions on transfer fees. Hopefully there is some money left in the kitty for more before the window shuts (slams) or in January if necessary. I would like to have seen us buy a young central defender and Flynn Downes from Ipswich looked like a good prospect for the future. There is still time so perhaps we will see some more fringe players arriving.
It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses. |

Whilst the Yanks are part owners our spends are limited, they're not willing to invest in a club they want out of so, until someone with deep or deeper pockets comes along that's it. Besides, Villa splashed the cash last season & it didn't work out.

However, the plan is clearly flexible given that Gallagher was the initial target from Chelsea, and then suddenly switched to Michy !
