According to reports in the Press recently, Palace are asking £7-8m for him. If that’s true hopefully someone will take a chance on him. Get rid as soon as possible as far as I’m concerned.

SIX LEAGUE GOALS IN HIS LAST THREE SEASONS..! THAT'S RIGHT.........SIX!......IN THREE YEARS....! If he's on £100,000 per week that is £2.6m per goal.

He is spent. He has had more than enough time to rediscover his form. There doesnt seem to be hunger and desire there. You look at Ayew, his career was most definately on the downward slope. Got an opportunity and took it. You can see the hunger and desire in his play. Problem is offloading him. He will want good wages whilst Palace hierarchy seemingly want a fee for him.

He has to go at whatever the price or even a free, we save so much on that calculation above it would be madness to keep him and anyway doubt anyone would want him, especially as the physio room says he has broken foot and no return date!

Everyone knows we need strikers and then someone creates a thread about terminating our only real striker’s contract and letting him walk for free. Only for him to negotiate a new signing on fee for himself and to play for someone else. THINKKKKKK Luckily they are not running the club, who in their right mind would consider giving away £7.8m. I thought Benteke broke his foot in the Villa tunnel in a skirmish, which earned him a red card. If that is the case, should he be paid his full wages, if he has made himself unavailable to play.

That would open up a whole can of worms. I seem to recall that Puncheon injured himself quite badly whilst appearing to try and break Kevin De Bruyne's legs a few years ago
