To my mind, Mitchell is a bit below the required level. On the ball he's okay if a touch panicky. Off it, he's positionally questionable and very reticent about (and not great at) tackling.

Maybe because he's a kid, a Palace kid, i watch him with an overly critical eye. But he makes me nervous. awb was unspectacular with the ball, but defending one on one he was as quick as a snake from the very start.

I'm definitely not saying he can't make it. But to my eye he's not ready now. I guess if Roy sticks with him, I'm wrong. Because he's not the kind to play in unready youth team players willy nilly.
