Don Rogers. His performance in the 5-0 Man U win was the best individual display ive ever seen from a Palace player. He absolutely tore them apart

I started watching in the mid-70's so just missed Don Rogers. It has to be Vince Hilaire for me, with Wrighty, Salako, Speroni and Wilf as runners-up. I like Jimmy Mac a lot too.

Dave Madden. Best player I ever saw in red and blue.

Also loved Thomas and Hilaire

Got to be our Jules

Top goalkeeper and thoroughly decent chap to boot.

And Eric Young.

I like the cameo favourites, Madden and Lombardo. I guess Rogers is a cameo favourite too. Maybe it's easier to love a player whose Palace dalliance is fleeting.

If you want to live in a world full of kindness, respect and love, try to show these qualities.

Darren Ambrose was box office, and arguably without him there would be no Crystal Palace FC in its current form.

As one of the oldest here I was privileged to follow the marvellous Johnny Byrne. Surely our greatest.

I also have fond memories of John Jackson our athletic and very brave keeper (those were the days of sodden leather balls and No.9s who happily took the man as well as the ball)
Bobby Woodruff (he of the long throw) Alan Stephenson ( a great centre half) Don Rogers and the incomparable and with us for so short a time: Atilio Lombardo.

Happy days, we shan't see their like again ...
