If he’s old enough to write messages like that he’s old enough to known it’s wrong. Certainly he needs the strongest possible punishment and some intervene to try and understand if he’s just an idiot or a little narcissist in the making. The authorities should probably keep tabs on him for a long time. Hopefully he grows up, but needs to understand actions have consequences.

I have little time for racists, but I'm a realist. Kids can do exceptionally stupid attention seeking s*** and he's probably parroting the kind of atmosphere we has found himself around. It's pitiful but also a good opportunity to have this short sharp shock to learn from. Wanting to lock up a 12 year old doesn't sit well with me. There are better ways of letting someone know that if this is the standard of their conduct they're not going to go far in life. The kid needs to understand that, as does his family. We should direct our attention to the sweeping, catch-all racist comments we sometimes see and hear from 'grown ups'. Children get their idea of what's right and wrong from adults and depending on who's the authority figure at home, that can lead to warped outlooks that don't serve children or society well. These are hurty comments on the Internet by an immature boy and all this is getting a little hyperbolic. Next I'm expecting someone to suggest cutting his hands off.

I spent the '80s in a Communist state and they forced us to do this, it was exactly the same. People swear at people all the time, you are exaggerating. Whether anger for race, physical appearance or favorite football team, all swearing and hatred are bad. We make too much case when someone does it because of race. Originally posted by Baires Eagle
The message, which appears to be send on Saturday evening, read: ‘You better not score tomorrow you black c***. Or I’ll come to your house dressed as a ghost.’ The user, jackdolan_avfc, also sent Zaha a picture of the Ku Klux Klan and another racist image.
I never made too much fuss about it and sane people shouldn't do it. Zaha is a beautiful young man and he knows this and should be confident. The colour of a person is not important. But there is too much hypocrisy in western media regarding racism. Why not do the same against all sorts of discrimination?? When someone gets called fat or ugly or stupid or too skinny in an insulting way, often by hateful colleagues or other children, the psychological effects are probably greater than when insulted about race. It's an insult, it's bad, the kid shouldn't do it. But to ask for him to be permanently banned is childish. People insult all the time for physical reasons or stuff other people can't change (because we were born like this or God made us like this). I just feel like there is an agenda cause racism is regarded as the worst of the worst insult. It's not. There are many other worse. And yeah,I've also suffered racist abuse too, colored people made fun of me for being white. It wasn't ok. Edited by mattteo (12 Jul 2020 9.22pm)

Surely we should be awarded the points as Wilf and the team would have been traumatised by the fascist blitzkrieg unleashed by a twelve-year-old boy. Sakho certainly played like he had a chip on his shoulder. Edited by georgenorman (12 Jul 2020 9.44pm)

It did say a series of messages, and we have seen two. So it's possible there are more. No name calling is really on. Even saying Woy, but sometimes people do it. One of the big differences here is that due to all the rising far right extremism, and the kid sating he was going to turn up at his out it havd to be investigated. Police would have had to track down his IP and home address to go round. Only to find it's a 12 year old when they got there. The kid has wasted polices time when they could have been investigating something more important. Perhaps turning up at his house will be enough to scare the life out of him. But cut his hands off just in case. That will also help with Coronavirus.

I agree with jeeagles, turn up, have a word with the family and it's very unlikely he'll be targeting anyone in the same way again. If it's something he's picked up from family attitudes they should be ashamed of themselves and what it's resulted in for others and their child. If it's just an attention seeking kid though, the coverage will likely result in him adjusting his attitude and learning that you're better off treating people well than looking to attack or demean.

The BLM events and increasing left wing media anti white narratives have definitely increased interest within dissident right circles. As for the 'far right'? Who gets to decide who they are exactly? Perhaps when groups that the left and centralists like to call 'far right' are actually allowed a political party in this country where they can campaign. Only then can we will find out how popular they are or aren't.

This all seems a bit beyond a 12 year old to me. Seems a bit dated. Does the word "c**n" (as in "C**nflakes" still exist in English? I'd hope that word had been eradicated years ago. Better to look at the parent(s) using the boy's (or girl's) account.

If it turns out to be someone trying to palm it off onto their own family member or child then it sinks to even further depths in terms of how pathetic it is. I doubt it'll take long to figure out either way.
